I arranged a time/date to pickup my cupcakes and when I was running late, the person at the shop could not have been more gracious. As for the cupcakes....they are amazing! I didn't ask if any were vegan or gluten free but I didn't see a sign that said that option was available. It was Thursday mid day so maybe that's why they were not that great. I also got a cookie which was really dry on the outside but the center was really good. Now the cupcakes looked amazing and we didn't eat them until the next day so them being dry might be our fault for not eating them right away. She said "You know, you really need to face people while you're talking to them." What! So awkward and weird. That's the main reason I took one star off because it caused me not to go back again. Same with the smiley face cookies, the bakery frosting is the best. I got a parfait for the first time since high school though and was sorely disappointed. They used to use wake robin yogurt (which I do remember them discontinuing some years ago), but now the yogurt is SO sweet. Overall it makes the parfait too sweet with the homemade granola and blueberry coulis. I couldn't help but notice how much smaller the parfait portions are too.
