Great experience with this business, even when things went awry. I had placed an order at the beginning of the year, but it was unclear when the recipient would be back from vacation. Emmett Floral was willing to work with me on a delivery date and was very flexible in changes in schedule I requested. Unfortunately, I had to follow up with the business and the recipient two weeks after the fact when I didn't get any kind of confirmation. The flowers never got there -- there was a change in ownership, and my contact information got lost in the shuffle. Turns out they had attempted delivery on the day I asked, but the recipient wasn't home. They had the correct phone number for her in their system, but she never got the voicemails for some reason. I told the new owner I was expecting them to leave the bouquet at the door, but she said she wouldn't do that because it was far too cold. (I've only ever ordered from 1800-Flowers, so it was very much an "a-ha!" moment for me when I realized that NOT leaving $100 flowers on a stoop in 10° weather is absolutely the correct thing to do.) So Emmett Floral was actually waiting for me to contact them so they could make it right. I was offered a refund or another delivery attempt -- the latter of which I accepted because I'd like to support small businesses whenever I can. The new owner was very empathetic and friendly, and everything went much more smoothly the second time, at no extra charge to me. The recipient LOVED her bouquet, and while I had no specific requests for the types of flowers used, I liked how unique it looked. Opportunities for me to order through Emmett Floral again are unlikely, but I highly recommend them due to their upstanding professionalism when my order turned out to be more chaotic than anticipated. read more

Amy is amazing! Talented and with awesome people skills, so nice and so helpful and reasonably priced too! Her creations are just beautiful. The shop is a wonderfully displayed array of antiques and collectibles. I always leave feeling refreshed and calm. I happened in one day and saw her finished work of art for an avid hunter. It was just beautiful with a small antler placed strategically within, simply amazing. Since finding Emmett Floral I will not go anywhere else. Called to see about a flower delivery late in the afternoon for a next day delivery and was told no problem!! I spoke with the owner, Amy, who is a delight to work with. I told her what the occasion was for the flower delivery and she suggested a garden arrangement. Because I live in Boise, all of our interaction was by phone, so she emailed me my receipt and she texted me a picture of the arrangement prior to delivery and it exceeded my expectations....absolutely beautiful! For every flower there is a meaning and they know how to send messages without speaking a word. If you need delivery outside of Emmett, they are pleased to do so. The ladies know how to make you smile or comfort a sorrowful heart. Their shop has amazing antiques and goodies as well and I recommend a visit. I would not use EMMETT FLORAL. I ordered flowers for a funeral service to be delivered to the funeral home. I was charged for the flowers and after the service we looked for the flowers that we paid for and "SENT" and NO FLOWERS.....also checked with the family to make sure we didnt miss them and was told that they had all the flowers and cards and there was not any from our family. I called and left a message on Emmett Floral's VM...requesting a call back. which they said they didn't get and told them that the flowers were not at the service. I called back and spoke with Lori who said that the flowers were delivered and that once the funeral home gets them they don't know what happened to them.... in my opinion I was charged for flowers that did NOT get delivered. I wonder how many times floral companies charge people for flowers and never expect the majority of people to check to see if the flowers actually arrived. They did offer to send flowers to the family.....4 days after the service???? ummmm no thanks. how about refunding my money that you were so quick to charge??? VERY ANGRY... read more
