One thing we don't get in the US is very young or raw milk cheeses as there is a pasteurization and aging requirement. It seems that Denmark was going through some similar,though more relaxed laws on this which are changing due to a persistent Frenchman. In talking to the owner we knew that he was a food lover in general based on some questoins he asked: Owner: " what would you like to try?" Us: "What do you love?" Owner: "I love everything here!" Us: "Let's narrow it down to what you consider special. We're looking for thing we wouldn't otherwise be able to get at home" Owner *pulling out tons of samples*: "Are you going to Noma?" Us: "Yes, we are looking forward to it" Owner: "You must be rich people." Us: "Uh not really but we do love food and it's high on the list here" Owner: "Well then you will love the live Fjord Shrimp dish with the brown butter. It is fantastic!" We laugh as we try all the delicious cheese he presents. We walk out with probably a half dozen different things in small quantities that we eat at the nearby square with our baked goods and butcher meats. It was a great eating day.

Excellent Charcuterie & paired perfectly with the Blanc Chavignol. The table next to me had a Rilletes sampler (Duck, goose, chicken & rabbit) which looked really good! They have a small shop where you can buy various French delicacies (Foie Gras, various cured meats, etc). Also, wine and liqueurs. A little bit of Paris in CPH. Overall, great food, service & experience!

Alarmingly, the staff seemed familiar with the thief/theft, even conversing with him in Roma, and appeared more upset with us for expressing our distress than with the situation itself. To make matters worse, the chef was confrontational and lacked empathy. If my customers were robbed in my establishment, I would be deeply embarrassed and would prioritize assisting them instead of responding aggressively. I was unable to pay for our meal because my device was taken, yet the restaurant insisted on charging us the full price, which we observed another patron pay. They did not contact the police or report the theft. Instead of providing assistance, we were asked to leave while the thief was allowed to walk away, despite three witnesses confirming he was the one responsible. Afterward, we approached the police, who informed us that such treatment of customers is unacceptable and raises serious safety concerns. I strongly advise potential diners to reconsider their choice of restaurant. While the food may be enjoyable, the treatment of customers left much to be desired.

Naturmælk whole milk (3,5%) natural yogurt 3. Aalbæk Quality Meats (Jalapeño Chorizo is my fav) 4. Cheddar cheese (the real kind, might even qualify as "sharp"), and various other stinky french cheeses 5. Cofoco's Supermarché Frozen French onion soup, with real stock (for hangovers, try it) 6. Pecans, once a year, for pecan pie 7. Seafood (their fiskefrikadeller are awesome, as is the homemade remoulade) Best idea is to go here with cash in your pocket, otherwise, it's entirely possible to buy the whole store.
