After 21 days, the legal amount of time that a landlord has to return the security deposit or send an itemized list of deductions per California law, we still did not hear anything regarding our security deposit. Then when we finally got a response, they asked for our forwarding address and stated that a check had been sent out that we never received. After 42 days, I called the office multiple times and when I finally got a call back he stated he can send it to us via Zelle. He was very rude and sent a partial payment of the security deposit amount. He refused to send full amount despite not following the California law. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!
