I thought I'd try waxing again even though my first wax experience ever (back in hs) was pretty traumatizing. I found Sandra via Yelp and found her Instagram and saw that she kept the brows thicker and not too thin. Since my brows grow pretty fast I figured no harm in trying her out since mine literally grow out in one month. I told her my concerns about how they had been shaped before and how one side was higher than the other. She recommended that she should shape my brows differently than how they naturally grow in because they are too harsh for my rounder face shape. But I went against this recommendation because you always read that the best way to have them shaped is how they naturally grow in. The more and more I looked at them after they were done the more I realized she was right. So I learned the hard way that the general rule to "shape them the way they naturally grow" isn't reliable. So now I let her shape them to look softer. I always feel more like a grown up and like I have my shizz together when I have freshly cleaned up brows. I wish my brows would slow down in the growth department though. Let up on me for one month at least? She will fill in your brows for you after she's done but I just have her apply brow wax to tame my crazy little suckers because they're full enough already. Plus I normally only go study after I see her and me with fully done brows looks a bit overdone especially since I tend to not wear makeup on weekends. Just a personal preference. I really love how I can schedule to see her online or after my appointment. I hate calling and texting places to confirm appointments because I'm soooooo lazy LOL Overall I love coming to see Sandra because she's always so nice and friendly. I've never been burned by the wax which was my biggest concern and my eyebrows always look good now.

She was also really strict about COVID precautions, and besides wearing mask, and gloves she sprayed both of our hands several times during our 90 minute (or longer) session. She took her time with me. Lots of education even on the phone prior to the appointment with directions on what to do and to not do prior to the appointment. Apparently some people are allergic to the products used and she gave me a heads up, then, while at her place, I was given the allergy test to make sure. She was meticulous with symmetry and execution. She drew beautiful eye bore lines and did an amazing job. I'm going for my 4+ week touch up and I am really looking forward to seeing her later on. I was recommended to visit Ever After Enchantress to inquire about micro needling. My sister went first, so I tagged along to see if it was something I was interested in doing. Tatti was very welcoming & very discreet. I wasn't able to see the procedure done on my sister, but she was satisfied. She sent me pix of her progress, and asked if I wanted that for my bday, so of course, I said yes. I went in a few weeks later, & again, Tatti was great. I think it's just her personality that gives you that comfort that she knows her stuff. She numbed my face as she explained the procedure to me. Once my face felt numbed I lied down and she went to town. I closed my eyes and allowed her to micro needle my face. I'm not gonna lie, at first you're like HOLY HELL!!!! I honestly can say, that it's the nerves that get the best of you, because she has a very light hand and controls the machine well enough not to feel a thing. When we were done, she handed me a mirror, and I looked like I got dragged out of a a brunch bar and into the streets, because my face was red. She then proceeded to explain the after care, & provided me with serum, & face cream to use on a daily basis. She also told me I can get most of the stuff through Amazon, which was great. One important thing was not to go out into the sun for a while, which I didn't do. We communicated for the next couple of weeks, as I sent her pix of my progress. I thought I was annoying her, but she welcomed them every time. I'm going on a year, I had my micro needling done, and I have to say 90% of my crows feet, and number 11 are gone. I definitely need to go back soon for a touch up before the summer hits. Micro-needling was the best decision I've made and I wouldn't consider any other form for rejunification.
