Everyone was very nice when I arrived, but unfortunately the pricing was not communicated clearly at all. Before injecting, I was given a very quick explanation that Dysport and Botox are "measured differently." I was never told that this difference would result in me being charged roughly THREE TIMES what I believed I was agreeing to. There was no clear discussion of the total number of units being charged, the expected price of the treatment, or even an estimate before proceeding. This was only supposed to be a touch-up, and what I expected to be around a $140 service ended up costing me $422. When I questioned the receptionist afterward and said I had come in because it was advertised at $4 per unit, I was literally told, "Oh no, that's too low." I left, found the advertisement showing the $4/unit price, and came back to address it. At that point, the injector told me that she had explained that the measurements were different. Explaining that Dysport and Botox are measured differently is NOT the same thing as clearly telling a client, "Because of that difference, you will be receiving X units and your total today will be approximately $422." I would never have agreed to a $422 touch-up had that price been clearly disclosed to me beforehand. I understand that different injectables have different dosing ratios, and I have no issue paying the appropriate price for a service I knowingly agree to. My issue is the lack of transparency. If a pricing difference is significant enough to turn what a client believes is approximately a $140 service into a $422 bill, that needs to be explicitly communicated BEFORE anything is injected--not explained afterward when the client questions the bill. I left feeling completely misled and taken advantage of. Regardless of how friendly everyone was, this experience destroyed my trust in the practice. Clear pricing and informed consent should be basic expectations, especially when you're dealing with cosmetic procedures where there is no opportunity to undo the service once it has been performed.

All the estheticians are knowledgeable, so you can't go wrong. I tried Jackie for the first time today, and I'm going to book with her again because she seems to know more about my skin type. I've tried various facials, and they're all amazing. Whatever your concerns are, they have a mask, enzyme, ect. to help you. Wellness: for a small added monthly fee, you can add unlimited access to their wellness services. I've only tried the BallancerPro, but they have light therapy, sauna, sound healing, etc. The value is incredible! Flexibility: what I love is the flexibility. As a member, if I skip a monthly facial, I can gift it to someone or apply it for another month. I can also pause my membership without any fees. This is not the type of establishment that tries to upsell you with products and add ons to their service. They truly care about serving their clients with the best. I get compliments on my skin, especially when I tell them my age-47. Of course some of it is partly due to heath, diet, exercise, and genetics. But it would behoove me to acknowledge the help that Exhaal Wellness Spa has provided me with as I try my best to age gracefully. It's a remarkable establishment that I absolutely recommend.
