She has done my makeup twice, once for a bridesmaid, and once for my trash the dress photoshoot. I cannot even tell you how great she is. She works hard, and fast yet she loves to laugh, and she makes you feel totally comfortable. I will post pictures of the work she did on me. Bonus -- she even does hair too. I had make up done for my wedding by Lindsey and it was alright. The make up was done differently…read morefrom my trial run than on the day of my wedding, unfortunately not in a good way. It winded up being too heavy and unflattering so that my eyes looked tiny. The lip color she gave me to touch up/ used on the wedding day was different than the trial, which ended up being a nightmare. It dried my lips out, clumped, colored unevenly, didn't last and flaked onto my wedding dress staining it. Overall, I wish I had spent the money on nicer make up and done it myself. However, my bridesmaids make up looked very pretty and their lip color had zero problems lasting through the night. Also, if you are better at voicing your opinion and know more about make up it might be much better because I'm not!

The concept of a spiky, wispy, textured pixie is not comfortable for some stylists. It seems most people only go in for long hair trims and balayage, so perhaps stylists do not get to practice that style. Someone on NextDoor suggested Cori Beasley from Salty Blonde Salon. Thank you!! Wish I could remember who recommended her so I could thank her!! I got a wonderful cut, her attention to technique was great, lots of confidence in her manner. I pay attention to all that a stylist does, including if their scissors are kept sharp. I've had worn out scissors used on me that pulled my hair or damaged the ends. The whole experience was great, My search is over. Thanks Cori, see you in a few weeks for a trim and massage!

Salty Blonde has a great vibe--it's comfortable and clean with no snobby/fancy put-ons. All the stylists seem to enjoy working there, including the owner who is also a stylist.
