Amber is such an awesome make-up artist! I am not skilled in applying make-up so when I know there will be a lot of picture taking I have her apply make-up on me. I like natural look and she delivers every time. She is a very busy woman so make sure you schedule an appointment early! I was very lucky she was able to squeeze me in this past Saturday before my son's birthday party. The only problem I had was not enough pictures were taken of me - I know it was not my party but still - I just like how I look after she does her work on me... I highly recommend her, she is very nice and gentle and very good at what she does. read more

Amber is amazing! Amber provided airbrush makeup for me, my bridesmaids, and my mother/mother-in-law (7 of us total) on my wedding day. I was an out of state bride, so I was never able to do a trial with her due to my limited time in California, but she had such good reviews that I trusted her. All her reviews were so right! She made me look and feel gorgeous on my big day as well as my bridesmaids and mothers. She arrived right on time and worked with us early in the morning, and even prepared a schedule to get everyone done on time. Such a relief when it's such a hectic day! Even before I met Amber, through all my email exchanges with her, she was so professional and nice and really seemed to understand what I was looking for. I highly recommend her! read more

I cannot say how lucky I got when Amber was available to do my wedding makeup! She is so personable and listens to exactly what you say you want. She did airbrush makeup for my 5 bridesmaids, my mom, step mom, and myself (8 ppl total). I was a more difficult client because I had never had my makeup done for an event before and I was undecided on how I wanted my makeup to look. I was very concerned about my makeup not looking cakey, but I also wanted airbrush to give me that flawless look. I quickly found out how hard it is to find someone who can accomplish this "natural", flawless look. But she is an absolute pro at it!! I had one trial with another makeup artist before I found Amber and the gal did not listen to me at all and told me that a natural look was not possible if I got airbrush. That's not true, you just have to find a talented makeup artist! I walked out of there feeling not at all like myself, and was in tears. I was so disappointed and feared that I wasn't going to find someone that could get me the look I wanted under $300. But then I found Amber to my relief. Amber immediately put me at ease and made the process so much fun! She was quick to respond to emails and addressed all my concerns. I immediately trusted her and her abilities once I met her. I did one trial with Amber and loved my makeup. However, after some debate I decided to ramp up the look a little bit for the wedding day. I had complete confidence that she could do it day of without another trial. And she did it even better than I imagined! My bridesmaids looked stunning and my mothers' makeup was incredible as well. Most of my bridal party and my Moms were hesitant to do airbrush for the same reason...they didn't want to feel like they had cakey makeup on. Everyone felt so beautiful and we got comments all night that we looked like movie stars! Her assistant was fantastic as well! She definitely attracts great people, because she's so wonderful. Amber is is a MUST for any special event you may need your makeup done for. She is an expert with airbrush and with makeup in general. She's always trying new products and so she knows which ones are the best to use. She very much understands people and the look they're going for. She listens! Really listens! And if you don't like something, she's not offended, she moves on and will figure out what it is that will make you feel amazing. Thank you for making me feel gorgeous Amber!! read more

Amber did makeup for my bridesmaids and me about a month ago for my wedding and everyone looked and felt beautiful! It was the perfect balance between looking natural and elegant. I was on the fence about hiring a makeup artist for my big day but I am so happy that I decided to go Amber. She was very flexible on the wedding day and even did makeup for an extra bridesmaid last minute. Great service! Thanks so much Amber! read more

Absolutely stunning! I have a TON of skin allergies and after a major reaction on my first makeup trial I was super paranoid - I found Amber and discussed with her over email my concerns. She had the best responses and recommendations out of the 5 makeup artists I was emailing with so I decided to do a trial with her - I was so blown away. The makeup looked so flawless but more importantly it wasn't heavy at all and my skin did not have any reactions. I had several friends tell me that my makeup was so perfect - my bridesmaids all felt like a million bucks and we had so much fun too. Highly recommend her - she has a really awesome studio too - at a minimum go see her for a trial and you will definitely be sold! read more

Amber is absolutely amazing! She wasn't just a makeup artist, she felt like a friend who I hadn't seen for a while. We immediately connected! I recently had a wedding in up in Ramona in July... So needless to say it was pretty HOT. Amber took her time on my makeup, and made sure it would hold up in the summer heat. I asked for a very natural sun kissed look, and that is exactly what I got. She truly cares about her brides, and definitely gave me the best. On our wedding day timing was very important, she was very professional, and flexible with the changes that occurred during our special day. You made my girls and myself feel so beautiful!!!! Thank you thank you so much. read more

Amber is so amazing! Not only is she talented at what she does, but she's an amazing person too. I've had the pleasure of working with her on numerous occasions. From portrait shoots, to weddings, she does it all! What I love most about Amber is her warm presence. She is so easy to talk to and really takes the time to get to know each and every client. Her makeup style is both effortless and beautiful. Never rushed, or overdone looking. It's always just right and exactly what you envisioned it to be. I seriously can't say enough great things about her! BOOK HER LADIES!! read more

Amber Silva worked on the make up for my wedding on May 30, 2015. She was absolutely fantastic to work with. She came to my home for a trial a few months before my wedding day. She listened to exactly what I wanted done and I loved the results. She was able to make my make up look very natural which is exactly what I wanted. On the day of my wedding Amber showed up right on time ready to go. She did make up for five bridesmaids, two junior bridesmaids, a flower girl, and myself, the bride. She was right on schedule and we were ready to go in time for photos. I would highly recommend Amber for any event where you want to look perfect! read more

Amber is phenomenal. I had the absolute honor and privilege of having my makeup done by Amber on a few occasions: engagement photos, the bridal shower, and of course, the wedding day. On each occasion, I asked for a different "look" and Amber immediately understood what I was picturing, and delivered. My makeup was beautiful and flawless on each and every occasion - yet she maintained my "style" each time. She is everything you would want and need in a makeup artist: professional, detail-driven, a great listener, organized, creative, experienced, uses top-notch makeup/products, just superb. And, to make things even better: she is kind and an absolute pleasure to work with. We immediately connected and I felt like I was talking to a good friend when she was doing my makeup (which is nice - you are going to be spending a lot of FaceTime with your makeup artist!). On the day of the wedding, she was calm and peaceful (which I needed!) and made the day so enjoyable, not to mention seamless (I had 8 bridesmaids and my mom and aunt who wanted their makeup done, and she managed everything and we were done early!). All of my bridesmaids and my mom commented on how blessed and lucky I was to find her - a true gem. Choosing a makeup artist can be a challenging task, but don't let it be; book Amber now, and I am certain you will share in the same experience that I, and all of the other yelpers, did. If you are looking for a make up artist for your wedding, look no further. Amber Silva Makeup Artist was my first and only trial for my big day and I couldn't be more pleased. I've never been one to wear a lot of make up and wanted a simple, natural look. She did more than deliver. She answered every question I had and when I was worried about my makeup setting in the heat, (we had hot summertime July wedding) she did everything she could to make me feel comfortable with products and the final outcome. She even gave me tips on my skin to lead up to the wedding. Her airbrush application is flawless. She is flawless. I can't say enough good things about Amber and she's on the Martineau Christmas dinner invite list for life. Her gentle demeanor and kind spirit was so fun to work with. I wish I looked like this everyday! Thank you, Amber...you know how to make someone feel amazing! read more

Amber is amazing. The end. Just kidding.. I'll rave more. Amber did my friend's makeup for her wedding last year and I remembered her when my wedding came around last month! I had my trial with Amber a couple months before my wedding and that's when we fell in love. But really, we clicked instantly and it was great having an easy conversation with someone who's interacting so closely with your face. Amber's big on natural beauty and skin care which is a big reason why I chose her and that really showed in my trial and eventually on my wedding day. Obviously you gotta be glammed up for the wedding day but I didn't want to look unrecognizable, ya know? She listened to every wish I had about how I wanted to look and didn't walk out the door when I had my tiny bridezilla moment about sandwiches. (Fellow brides get it; lunch is important). I want Amber to do my makeup everyday!! If I have some fancy event to go to one day, I will be knocking on Amber's door! read more

I can't say enough about Amber and her team during my wedding process. She is truly a talented professional at her craft. My sister raved about her and told me that I needed to snatch her up for my wedding ASAP. As any bride can relate, we want to make sure our hair and makeup is on point for our wedding day!! I have sensitive skin and her products are top of the line and I had no adverse reactions from them at all. I felt at ease immediately when first contacted Amber. She is a great communicator through phone and email. Any questions or concerns I had she was back to me asap with an answer. Throughout the process, she was positive and really added some excitement towards our big day! She really has a lot of passion and care towards meeting her clients needs. The makeup was absolutely gorgeous! It really was a moment when I felt the prettiest! My mom who doesn't really primp too much was just as beautiful as I've ever seen her and usually she doesn't like a lot of makeup, but she LOVED it!!! We really enjoyed Amber and her hair stylist. It was such of fun part of my wedding day and I felt totally relaxed. She has such a warm heart and pleasant personality that really set the tone of our wedding day. It even rained that day and my makeup and hair still looked fantastic! I'm so glad I had Amber for my wedding. I will have such a good memory of my wedding day partly because of her! A big thank you to Amber and her team for giving my BRIDE TRIBE effortless, natural, beautiful and fresh faces for our wedding on May 21st, 2017. I had searched high and low for a makeup artist that provided natural glowing airbrush makeup and kept coming up short. Then I found Amber Silva! Right from the beginning, Amber was professional, understanding, responsive and most of all a joy to be around. We had a few email/text correspondences back and forth to discuss looks then, I booked a trial before signing. The trial was exactly what I needed in order to book and I felt this weight lift off of me knowing my BRIDE TRIBE was all set. Amber ensured we had clarity on the process and always asked if we had questions or comments. She wanted to know of any skin sensitivities and really took her time putting together our wedding timeline for seven ladies. Amber and her team showed up early on our wedding day and set-up within 10 minutes. My BRIDE TRIBE looked breathtaking and I would book Amber again in a heartbeat! Thank you so much for making our wedding day seamless! read more

On your wedding day, you want the best makeup artist doing your makeup to make you look your best. Amber is hands down that person. I was so blessed have her. Not only did she make me look stunning, everyone in my bridal party, both our moms and my grandma all looked absolutely beautiful. All of us have been in different weddings where we had our makeup done and every single one of us thought Amber did the best job of any makeup artist that we had ever experienced. Truthfully, I was the hardest sell - I've never ever liked my makeup professionally done. That is until I met Amber. She has the talent to highlight someone's natural beauty in such a phenomenal way. Better yet, my makeup stayed beautiful all night. No matter how many times people hugged me and accidentally rubbed their suit coats on me or how much I danced and worked up a sweat, my makeup looked the same at the end of the night as it did in the very beginning. I will forever use Amber for any makeup needs in the future. Choosing Amber will be one of the best decisions you make! Love, love, loved her!! read more

Amber is absolutely the best! She did the make-up for my wedding for myself and my five bridesmaids and I could not have asked for anything more! Not only is she unbelievably talented with make-up, but she's also amazing at listening to what you are imagining and creating exactly what you asked for. Working with Amber felt like we were having an old friend do our make-up (if your friend were a make-up guru) she is so fun and sweet and it is so easy to be around her and chat with her. We had such a great experience with Amber that one of my bridesmaids from out of state even commented after the wedding that she wished she lived in the area just so that Amber could be her personal make-up artist for everything. I am so excited for the next time I want to get professional make-up done because I know I have Amber and that she will make me feel beautiful. Thank you so much for everything Amber, you helped make our wedding day perfect! read more
