FACT: I was told the procedure would take several hours. FACT: I took a partial sick day from work so that the procedure could be performed. FACT: When I arrived, there was a 'new' dentist (Dr. Baik). FACT: This new dentist told me that I needed a crown on every upper tooth (approximately 14 in total) or to have them all replaced with veneers (at least $20,000 cash) not covered by insurance. FACT: This is not what the previous dentist from that office told me. FACT: This is extra dental work was NOT what the appointment was for. FACT: This is NOT what the insurance company approved. FACT: The dentist Dr Baik told me that she disagreed with Dr. Vics and the insurance company's ECONOMICALLY CONSERVATIVE treatment and told me that she would not proceed unless I agreed to one of the much more expensive procedures.
