I left with SEVERELY damaged, over processed hair, breakage, and straw like texture. Needles to say I gave up and thought that I would always have black hair... UNTIL, I found Füma hair salon and after reading the reviews and knew I needed to see Keitaro and put my hair in his hands. It was well worth the 2 hour drive to see him. He was realistic about what he can achieve without promising the end results. I trusted him 110% and at the end, I was over the moon with the results. I FINALLY found someone that could give me the color I had always wanted after 10 years of searching. I will never let anyone touch my hair but Keitaro. I can't give him enough praise. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Keitaro for you hair coloring and styling needs. If I could Füma a 10 star review I would. Side note, the staff was very friendly as well.

Carla has been doing my hair since I moved here from NYC in 1994. When I had long, luxurious hair…read morein my young adulthood, she was undeniably one of the best hair stylists in Los Angeles and an absolute master of curly and wavy hair. I had a weird cowlick and fairly wavy hair. She always made me look amazing. Now that I'm getting up there in age, my hair is sadly thinned out and no longer long. However, my son just spent 3 years growing out his hair. No one had touched it. It was just a huge, heavy unkempt, unshaped mess. Well, I knew who I had to take him to in order to rectify this situation. So, we went to Carla, and she fixed him right up. We are all very happy with the haircut. And, it's something that he can keep growing since he is a metal head. The salon is very nice and is a mix between a hair salon and a spa. I believe there was someone giving massages for a price in the back by the changing rooms. Everything here is top grade. And, you should expect to pay the price for that. I actually think Carla gives a good price, but this is not a Super Cuts cheap joint. It's a place to come if you want to look gooooood. Anyway, I know my son will be back and be a steady customer from now on. I know he is in good hands with Carla. They also have great people to do straightening or dye jobs. A real class act. If you have wavy or curly or long hair - hell if you have hair - just go!

She is incredibly talented and capable, you can show her one pic and she will either make recommendations based on your hair, or gets straight to it and makes it happen. No joke, last month I got a full balayage and some face framing layers, and within an hour of leaving my appointment, running errands, three strangers stopped me and asked me where I went for my hair/commented on how amazing it looked. Finally, you will not find someone with more flexibility on timing - she is beyond accommodating with her hours which is amazing for people with crazy work schedules.
