This is how my wound looked like originally, (before It was cleaned) it is a deep cut to the point where you can see tissue

THIS IS THE WORST EMERGENCY ROOM EVER, if you have the option to go somewhere else PLEASE do. I waiting 2 HOURS, there was only one person ahead of me when I got there, after I checked in three other people came I'm after me. The lady with glasses was rude as well as the guy who was working the afternoon shift. A nurse finally came to pass me back (or so I thought), she just asked to look at my wound which I did then and there on the waiting room, she then proceeded to pass another patient back and told me she would be calling me back shortly. About 10 or so minutes passed by when another nurse came to pass another patient back. I asked the guy in the front how much time would it should take in order for me to be seen and had a smart ass mouth about it. The last two people that got there after me were passed back first which doesn't make sense. They never advised me that they were running behind, did not have any communication what so ever. THE WORST ER EVER, you can bleed out and they still wouldn't care they only pick and choose who they want to attend. If they would have evaluated me properly they would've seen the wound. I did not even get passed back into a room or seen a doctor. HORRIBLE SERVICE, no wonder it's always empty, bc people don't know how to do they're job!

I did not check in online but checking in once I got there was no trouble. Ms. Candice was beyond professional and patient throughout the signing in and checking out process even though she had multiple patients waiting. 2. Our son was in love with the triage nurse. She was knowledgeable and patient as well. She worked really well with our busy body and obtained his vitals without him shedding a tear or appearing afraid. 3. Then there was Ms. Gloria:) I had complaints from N/V to a skin rash. She worked diligently and performed a thorough assessment prior to coming to a diagnosis and treatment. She explained treatment in great detail to my husband and myself and was patient when we asked questions. I felt a sense of relief and overwhelmed with appreciation. I cannot thank the staff enough for taking great care of my son. I will recommend this urgent care to all of my friends for their children. I hope it's a while before we have to go again but whenever we may need their services I will not hesitate to utilize their awesome service and exceptional care.

I'm writing this because it might save someone's life. I wish I'd read something like this before…read moreJune 6, 2024. I was told I'd have surgery at Townsen Memorial Hospital. The word hospital implied doctors, emergency backup, and safety. In truth, it's an ambulatory surgical center, a place where surgeons rent operating rooms and bring their own teams. No staff physicians. No overnight care. I didn't know that when I signed the consent forms. My orthopedic surgery was supposed to include two procedures. I woke up with six incisions and eight procedures I hadn't agreed to. My surgeon had left the building, and the state, before I woke up. I remained there for two days and never saw a doctor. Nurses followed blanket post-op orders that weren't written specifically for me. They injected me with insulin, despite me insisting I'm not diabetic. I begged them to stop; they said orders were orders. I became violently ill. There was no physician on site to intervene. Totally in the dark, I remained an active patient, attending appointments in June, July, August, September, October, and again in December. I was raising concerns at every visit, and being gaslit, lied to, and given false information. On December 4, 2024, I came back for a second surgery under strong coercion from my 'surgeon'. While I was being prepped, the nurse assigned to me looked at my scars and asked who had cut me like that. When I told her what I'd been told, that Townsen staff were responsible, she corrected me and said surgeons bring their own teams and Townsen staff don't touch patients in the OR. She then retrieved documentation showing the assistant's name and my surgeon's signature authorizing everything. Everything he had denied for six months. It was at this time, while I was being prepped for a second surgery, that I was informed that bone marrow had been extracted from my pelvis during that surgery. It was at this time, while I was being prepped for a second surgery, that I was informed that they were planning to do it again. AGAIN, the nurse said. I had no idea it had been done the first time. The surgical assistant who made my incisions and sutures wasn't disclosed. I didn't even know his name for six months. He was already a defendant in a negligence lawsuit at that same facility, and Townsen was a co-defendant. They said nothing. I still don't fully know what was done to me in that operating room; upwards of 13 individuals stared at my nude body for over 5 hours. My mind will never recover. That nurse likely saved my life. Later, Dr. Dror Paley, a leading limb reconstruction specialist, confirmed one of the procedures had caused permanent loss of push‑off ability in my foot. He said he rarely performs that operation because of how disabling the outcome can be. Independent doctors later determined I never had the conditions those surgeries were supposed to treat. Something I later learned was a pattern for my "surgeon". Townsen knew. I've lived in constant pain since that day. I'm a single mother to a special‑needs child and can no longer care for him as before. I've needed three corrective surgeries and still have severe nerve damage, pain and muscle loss. My knee function score was 21 out of 100, a level of major disability. Townsen billed $315,052.30 for my two‑day "outpatient" stay. Charges included equipment never used, implants not in my body, and anesthesia billed twice. When I questioned the bill, they stopped responding. There's now a Texas Medical Board investigation into my surgeon. The facility once operated as Humble Surgical Hospital, GOOGLE THAT NAME. The nurses there knew what was happening. They tried to transfer me. They cried and prayed with me. If you're being referred to this facility, or any place, ask questions: * Is it truly a hospital or an outpatient center? * Who will be in your operating room? * Are they involved in litigation? * Who oversees your recovery, and is a physician actually on site? I didn't ask those questions. I'm asking them for you now. Patients, beware.

Had a great experience in my three visits to Neighbors. My 5 year old suffered an acute and…read moreaggressive case of hives and we went up there at 11pm to be greeted and received well by the receptionist who helped us promptly be seen. The nurses were quick to take vitals, assess the situation by observing my son and asking both us parents pertinent questions. Long story short, they had a prescription dose of an oral steroid and Benadryl ready for my son to take before leaving. Now here's where the exceptional part of my experience came in - my son did not sleep much that night due to itching and restlessness. His mother was up with him until 4am until he finally calmed down. I was up at 7 to hit the pharmacy and get his prescription. Wife called and said he's back up and not better, so I picked him up and we visited Neighbors again. Similar to the first time, very quickly seen, they even had our paperwork pulled up to save on redundancy. They reassessed, asked me questions as to what happened after we left up to that moment and came up with an idea to do the injectable steroid, which I agreed. My son handled it like a champ thanks to the nurse administering it. I picked up the prescription, Benadryl, zertec for hives and Pepcid AC (which also has antihistamine properties) at the direction of the Neighbors doctor and nurse staff. Got him all hooked up with meds, did a cool oatmeal bath, coconut oil after - and still my little man was not getting relief. After a couple hours of trying everything us parents could do, we took him back up there just to do a final check before hitting the ER - they were so kind. Despite doing everything by the book (I checked myself) we were all confounded and decided to go to the ER. But not before giving us liquid numbing cream - which hugely helped with the itching. Ultimately we went to the ER and we're just told sometimes these things just need to run their course, they gave us some anti-itching prescription that would make him drowsy but other than that, they said Neighbors did a good job, to which I agree.
