    Emerald sunset- well made

Mahi burger was amazing! Definitely recommend. My sister and best friend ordered Emerald BBQ burger, comes with pineapple. Yummm. This location is kind of pricey but the food was good. Not worth the price.

Drinks are "okay" but the water view is great. However the poor bar tender was all alone and working very hard to take care of everyone... "A" for effort there...

Food was great - we had lunch around noon here. I got the beer battered Mahi Sandwich, a Cruzan confusion and painkiller for drinks. The mahi sandwich was very fresh and delicious. It came with a type of cole slaw on it with raisins (eh) but I scraped it off and ate the fish part (delicious). Came with a side of delicious fresh fries. The cruzan confusion was great with 9 different rums in it and wow I felt it. We were all quite tipsy from our first round of drinks. The painkiller was good - I am not super familiar with a painkiller so cannot say how it compares to others on the island. BEST OF ALL - the view. The atmosphere is a beautiful beach oasis. The teal water and beautiful views cannot be put into words. I have included photos. A few of my family members I was with got BLTs. My grandmother was regretting not getting the mahi tacos though. Service - the service was a bit slow but the people were super friendly and accommodating. They brought us to go cups, and were very kind. Ms White treated us very well! Thank you for everything! Felt super warm and comfortable - if only we weren't cramped for time to catch a plane we could have spent the whole afternoon there. Location - it is 4 minutes from the airport, super convenient when getting on or off the plane.

This little beach bar was awesome nice strong drinks. It started to rain and the bar staff hustled when it got busy from everyone taking cover .

Eating right by the beach. We swam and played while our drinks and food sat inches, well meters here away.

Wonderful service and great food. Fresh ingredients and right on the beach. It was a great experience, especially Sunday for the weekly taste of the Carribean. Curry Salmon Rice & Peas with Plantains are the best!!!

The best view restaurant on island, very good food. This is the greatest place and experience for island visitors

    Great view.

Well this was a record. I dont usually give poor service a negative review. I just let it slide. Not today. This was the absolute worst service in my entire life. We walked in the main entrance and stood near the empty host stand. After about 2 minutes and multiple looks from 2 different waiters, I approached them and asked politely if I should wait for a hostess and he stated to sit anywhere We would like. We sat ourselves with menus at a table right in the middle of all the traffic flow. Impossible for anyone to miss us. They were only 30% full. Our table was near the bartender. After 25 minutes with no human contact from any staff, a waitress asked if she can have our menus. We said as soon as someone takes our order then sure. She made a comment like "nobody took your order?" Waiting 5 more minutes before i asked the bartender what is the best way for us to get food. He went on a rant about how busy he is and has not been able to even look up. Strange because the waitress told the bartender about us. So i asked the bartender how we could get a drink or order food. His reply was to "sit somewhere else". I asked why couldn't you yell me that 30 minutes ago? This is absolutely no exaggeration (check the security footage). It took 1 hour and 5 minutes for me to get my first drink. To top it off, My meal was wrong. And we she finally brought the drinks to the table, no beer for me. 10 minutes later, my first drink. WOW. i can easily handle slow service, but being ignored and NO Communication from staff at all is not acceptable. I finally asked if we were welcome here, or were we "interrupting"? Fish in taco was rock hard.

Hand down the best place to eat in the area. It's very small, but packs a punch with great customer service, cool drinks and outstanding food. Best to try and get in on their off hours to get a table without a wait. We literally ate here 4 times when we were on the island. An absolute MUST to order is their Bacon Jalapeno tater kegs! OMG-They're the bomb! Wings are decent and the burgers are juicy, flavorful and delicious! You really can't go wrong with ANYTHING on the menu. Everything is made fresh to order. The decor is island themed chaos in every fun way possible. If you happen to have to use the restroom it's located outside (customs ONLY) The key ring they'll hand you is a toilet lid! LOL You can ring in another way too! On your trip to the john, call in sick to work and stay on the island! You're enticed too by the retro phone sitting a top a keg outdoors as well. Great photo opts! Happy Hour is daily! The Love Shack offers particular deals with half-priced cocktails. We did Margs on Monday! Signature drinks include the 50oz Volcano Drink, Shark Attack, and souvenir cocktails like the Pirates Booty in a ceramic mugs. FYI- They may attach a certain creature to your glass also. Burger was thick with a nice crisp, almost tasted like a smash burger but thicker. Service was good. It was the one spot where we didn't have to pay for a refill of soda. They were playing the best music! No waitlist or host so you have to linger and wait for someone to leave if you need a table and they are full. Great stop.

I told him I didn't think sales tax was charged on St. John and he said it was charged everywhere in the Virgin Islands. Very suspicious, I left and waited for the receipt to come through text. The receipt showed that the $8 was a tip that Desitin had added without my knowledge. If you are new to tiki, you might get frustrated with some of the service times, but each drink can be so complex, they take a little longer than your average rail to make (but it's worth it for the layered flavors). Breaker's Roar is my favorite bar in Christiansted, and it is great either as a first drink of the night spot, or as a final hurrah. I have never had a bad drink from them, and I don't even have a favorite, everything I have tried is so delicious. Each drink also comes in a carefully selected vessel, and that id definitely part of the equation in placing an order. The last time we went, there was also a small bites menu that was a pleasant surprise. We liked the two plates we tried, but already had dinner reservations. From the moment we arrived after a quick ferry ride from St. Thomas we were swept up in the vibe. This spot is basically a no-holds-barred beach bash in broad daylight: cold tropical cocktails flowing, live music pumping (especially on Sundays), and everyone from locals to visitors cranking the energy to max. It's not just a bar and grill; it's where "daytime beach party" gets redefined. We got there early, grabbed shaded lounge chairs plenty of amenities like paddleboarding and snorkeling are a nice bonus), and before we knew it, the place was packed with groups laughing, dancing in the sand, and toasting like it was midnight at a club. Pure, unfiltered fun kids these days might call it getting "Crunked Up," but for us, it was straight-up thriller-level partying under the Caribbean sun. The food hits the spot too: fresh locally caught fish, juicy burgers, tacos, and salads that feel perfect with your feet in the sand. Service can lag when it's slammed (which it usually is, in the best way), but who cares when the atmosphere is this electric? Fun facts that make it even better: Dinghy's sits right on Honeymoon Beach, one of the calmest, clearest spots in the USVI, on tiny Water Island (just 3/4 square mile easy to explore, big on vibes). It evolved from a spot called Joe's Beach Bar when the current owners took over around 2013, turning it into the go-to for boozy, sweaty, sultry beach days that feel like the Caribbean's version of a legendary cantina hangout. No wonder it's racked up thousands of glowing reviews it's consistently ranked as a top beach bar for good reason. If you're in St. Thomas and want a place that kicks off the good times early and doesn't let up, Dinghy's is it. 5 stars would party there again in a heartbeat. Cheers to epic daytime adventures!
