We finally dropped by her house two days ago to get the stockings, finished or not. Three had been embroidered, but she had torn the linings on two of them. A fourth stocking had been embroidered, but she was in the process of picking it out, and the lining had been damaged. I couldn't believe the carelessness--these are very meaningful to our family! Thankfully, three had been spared. Allison offered no apology or explanation--at least she didn't try to charge us. We are going elsewhere to get the job finished and the damage hopefully repaired.
