My two friends and I enjoyed the snow falling, the giant presents, and hanging out with Santa & Rudolph. We were having such a fun time, snow was falling in July! Other patrons came to talk to us and we all were enjoying the season. Staff were so friendly and let us entertain ourselves with all the fun decorations. I have posted all my Christmas pics to my socials and EVERYONE is jealous and asking where this is. Absolute must see if living in the city or passing through. Merry Christmas!

My friends and I ordered the Mistletoe Espresso Martini, Apres Ski and Let It Snow! shots. I wish there were more drinks that came with Christmas themed cups but there weren't :/ The Espresso Martini was decent though it didn't scream Christmas to me. The Apres Ski was a nice hearty Christmas drink since it's Hot Chocolate based! The Let It Snow! shots were the only drink on the menu I saw that came with festive cups so we had to try them - they were giving mouthwash due to the mint and alcohol content (and they came in cups that looked like you would use to brush your teeth with haha..) but was tasty and went down surprisingly smooth! Overall, friendly bartender and good vibes at the place! The bar was also pretty clean and relatively spacious :) Def a place to check out this holiday season!

I ordered a little bit of everything - chocolate, vanilla, blue corn, churro, and strawberry hibiscus. It was a bit of a bummer that my strawberry conchas didn't make it into the box. Not sure what happened - I was chatting with the cashier/concha server so maybe they were distracted. I also should have checked my order. The conchas were SOOOOO good. Very soft and fresh - not too sweet. The chocolate-y flavor wasn't really coming through to me. And the vanilla and churro flavors were very similar. The most prominent was the blue corn - and I think this was my fave. Comparatively speaking to other conchas at a panderia, $5 a concha is a bit steep. They are really tasty tho and definitely worth it. Think of it as a top shelf concha. Oh and the good news is, they're vegetarian friendly - they only use butter. I'll be back next time I'm in the San Fran area.

Bakery had a variety of about 6 concha flavors to choose from. Food: Guava Concha - served warm, great bread texture, nice and airy with a pleasant soft pillowy texture, topped with a crisp sweet cracked cookie top, flavor of the guava is quite subtle with a hint of acidity and a touch of guava note wish flavor was a little stronger, this is a seasonal item if you do want to try Service was great, really warm and friendly with great recommendations and suggestions. Bakery is between two brick apartment buildings, more of a grab and go spot, space is neat and tidy with a cute minimalist design but not much seating in the space Overall enjoyed Florecita Panaderia, definitely one of the best conchas I've had, texture of the bread is really good, on the pricey end but you definitely taste the quality. Worth a try if you enjoy Mexican baked goods.

Tres Leches: A classic, done so right. Moist and creamy cake in a nice puddle of cream. Fun little fruit on top, but not overwhelming. Really enjoyed this. Flan: Eggy. jiggly and sweet. Lots of caramel sauce on the bottom, which makes for the perfect spoonful of sauce and flan. Chocolate Tres Leches: Kinda tasted like cake dipped in chocolate milk. It too was creamy. Though I think prefer the original, since the chocolate overpowers the flavor of the sweet cream. Arequipe: A brownie, but with a nice spread of dulce de leche in the middle. The brownie itself was gooey and moist, so the dulce de leche just amplified that. Enjoyed it, but I kinda wish the middle layer of dulce de leche was thick, like in alfajores.

I walked up on the 1st week and picked up a couple of items for myself and one for a friend. I am unfamiliar with Colombian food so the young lady described some of their items. I started with the walnut brownie (https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/dulce-mana-colombia-san-francisco?select=M7BLB6_fskGPS-_FPcL2RQ), rich fudgy chocolate and walnut. It was tasty and a nice breakfast for me. I generally like my brownies without nuts but this wasn't overly nutty. The other item that caught my eye was the Choco flan (https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/dulce-mana-colombia-san-francisco?select=Zds24Ic3XrPTUmCozsklkw), creamy vanilla custard with burnt sugar caramel layered atop rich chocolate cake; the kind gal said this is aka Magic Cake as the flan is actually the bottom of the cake in its preparation. This was good but, for me, a bit on the rich side so I ate this over two sittings. I also got a half loaf of carrot cake (https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/dulce-mana-colombia-san-francisco?select=VtYFAnKsNbRrBLLPXMDwnQ) as my friend is a big fan. A half loaf is roughly four slices so it is good sized. Thank you, Dulce Mana, for giving me the opportunity to try your food. I will stop by this weekend and hopefully try the other brownie flavors if they are available. They are here for two more Saturdays (5/24 and 5/31).

Now we know to also check his website at arepasenbici.com *WAIT TIME- our party of 3 arrived right around 7 pm. We were a bit confused upon arrival since there were no other customers, only a bartender on FaceTime and a DJ jamming out by himself in the corner. We were worried that we went to the wrong place again, but it turns out that majority of the chef's customers just orders ahead online then picks up to-go. After asking the bartender if this was the right place to find arepas, she told us to walk towards the back and meet the chef in the kitchen. Then the chef handed us barcodes to scan and we did not have to wait extremely long for our orders but it also wasn't super fast since he had other orders to take care of. *AMBIANCE- fun, loud, "going-out" type of vibes at this specific location since it is also karaoke night on Wednesdays starting at 7 pm. *QUALITY- great! This was our first time trying our Venezuelan food and definitely won't be our last. Although we have no other arepas to compare it to, we can confidently say that it was prepped with great care and skill. Love how there's also a vegan option, which is the Dom arepa! *CUSTOMER SERVICE- great! The chef is friendly and highly personable, which definitely plays a role in us wanting to support him even more! He even surprised our friend with 2 pastellitos after finding out she didn't order some when both my fiancé and I did, which was very nice and inclusive of him. *RESTROOM- bathroom available inside at this specific location. *OUTDOOR SEATING- available, but no outdoor heaters. *PARKING- no private lot available, best bet would be metered street parking on streets surrounding Polk like Bush St which is free after 6 pm!
