Got a voucher for a free pizza and ordered a large supreme pizza to go. Normally, I'm skeptical of artisan pizzas but this pizza was really good! Better than a pizzeria. I'm not just saying it because it was free I would come back and pay for it. Generous amount of toppings and the crust has a parmesan encrusted in it. It was ready in about 10-15minutes. read more

Just waited at the host stand for 15 minutes without a single employee even glancing at me much less acknowledging I exist. Walked out. Don't come here. read more

Great new spot in PTC. Friendly staff, clean, nice bar and pizza was great! I got the Margarita Pizza which was delicious! Little pricey but very tasty. Looks like they have some good happy hour specials. I hope they start having pizza deals on their happy hour as well as that would bring people in more. read more

Service was terrible waited an hour and a half for one pizza , no one acknowledged me sitting and waiting for 30 min , had ordered over the phone and came in waited they said it would take 15-20 min come to find out they never put the order in , floor is dirty they only have one person working in the kitchen, the manager got smart , don't come here read more

Waited 15 mins before we received drinks in a Sunday with 6 people there. Ordered a salad and pizza. BBQ pizza was ok but loaded with bbq sauce like it was red sauce. Salad was crafted by someone who's not made salads before. Not sliced apples but half apples. Seemed like no real care was given. Not my jam or vibe tried it once all good! read more

Consistently inconsistent! First time I tried them- terrible. Second time- great! Third time- I received a burnt pizza. I'm done with this place. Save your money. Such better places to eat around here. read more

nice draft house in Providence town center. We ordered pizza takeout: one BBQ and one wild mushroom. Even at the small size, both are pretty big. The wild mushroom one seems to just have regular mushrooms, I like the taste, but it's pretty oily. When I get back home, the oil has spilled through the box. The BBQ one is pretty good, a little on the salty side. read more

Just went here for a team soccer event encouraged by the league. Although we've had reservations for some time, the place was completely unprepared. We had 13 year old boys waiting hours for food. 15 min wait for bar service. Unfortunately horrible service and I would not recommend. read more

The worst service I have ever experienced. After recommending an appetizer she never put it in and our drinks. We had to reminder her of our drinks and realized she had no idea she already waited on us. Watched a couple come sit at the bar and get up and leave because no one came to them...at the Bar! So sad as the pizza was good. That place needs management help! read more

There was only one employee working. He was bartending and waitering and working really hard but it took awhile to get our drinks. I was told by others that having one employee working happens a lot. Pizza was really good. I just wish they would have more employees working to.make it a better experience. I will call next time I want to come to see if they have more help. read more

The mushroom pizza pretty delicious; just a tad too much truffle sauce. If you like a rich pizza you'll like that one! The meatball was really good in my opinion. The ricotta and mozzarella were really fresh and I really enjoyed the red sauce. We also had side salads with our pizzas... they were so-so. Service wasn't the best, but we survived! read more

The chicken, spinach and mushroom pizza (a custom) is amazing! Great amount of sauce, the pizza is crispy but not over done or greasy, the cheese is plentiful but not overpowering, equally proportioned toppings and the crust has some cheese sprinkled on top. The service was great as well. I've only ordered takeout, but the staff is friendly, accommodating and hasn't messed up my order (I've ordered twice). They get your pizza ready in about 15 minutes and are attentive to additional requests. The ambience of Ember + Ale is cozy but modern. There are multiple tvs set up in the rear part of the bar and a cluster when you first walk in towards the left. I'm not a big beer drinker but they seem to have a pretty extensive selection. Patrons can sit at tables or the bar. My only gripe is that the prices are a bit on the high end. Around $30 for just one large pizza. With quick research the average price of a large pizza with 3 toppings is around $18. read more

Overall it was ok. The staff was friendly, the place was clean. Although the food had good flavor it was very oily. Don't get me wrong it's not like I ordered a spring salad or anything but almost everything I had left my hands greasy. I will go back and try something different and like I said the staff was very good and the food had a good flavor read more

One of our favorite places. We've tried 5 different pizzas at this point and they're all really good, pepperoni and hot honey is currently the front runner. Wings are phenomenal, tried them on a whim and now they're a standard order. Service has been ok in the past, but our last visit was great and what made me actually get around to a review. read more

Great service and food. The Meatball Pizza is one of our favorites. Great place to dine with the family.

The waitress was off when we arrived. She didn't know the drink menu and gave immediate attitude when asked the beers on tap. We got up to leave and were told to get the f**k out as the waitress Nicole danced in front of us as a taunt. A sad response from service personnel. Unfortunately, a do not return because of a one time experience. read more

We try two times , 1st sat outside , 2nd sat in side Outside was nice , inside very noisy, both time the service needs work for sure , the food was good , we had ice tea and soda both did not taste right read more

Great artichoke dip and fresh, non greasy pizza!! Fun place to visit and pizza is best around the area

Do not order the cheesesteak sandwich. It was plain meat served on a small roll with a slice of american cheese melted on top. After you bite the cheese area, the rest of the sandwich is just meat, not even onions. read more

What a great vibe and even more outstanding food and service. Oh my my those meatballs and the pizza was delicious! Cocktails!!!! A must! That spicy marg was so tasty and the beers are solid! 10/10 folks read more

I had the pleasure of including in the White Cheesy pizza last week at the Collegeville location. I had a hankering for pizza one night, so I drove to Ember and Ale to give it a try as I love trying new restaurants. I'm happy I visited. The pizza was well done, just like I like it, with a troth of cheese blends that satisfied my palate bite after bite. I love when cheese is somewhat hardened on pizza, so the bite is toothsome, meatier and savory. THEN there was the crust, my favorite part. It was dense, chewy and with a hint of garlic and Parmesan cheese I believe. Whatever the type of cheese, it was so, so, good. My only wish is that I could eat the entire pizza and that I dined in instead of getting take out so I could try one of the yummy looking cocktails the bartender was making. But trust me, I'll get that experience soon. I'm going to call my girlfriends to invite them to our annual girls night out for pizza and wine. I think I found the perfect new place! read more

Great selection of beers and a tasty cocktail menu. The pizzas are all very good. The atmosphere is comfortable, but reminds me of a workplace cafeteria a bit. Our server was very attentive and accommodating. Very good value. read more

I'm giving this place two stars because we immensely enjoyed their buffalo chicken dip, however we were extremely disappointed that the ingredients listed online were incorrect. We ordered their Carbonara pizza which states that it has spinach, chicken, mushrooms, tomatoes, and cheese. Upon receiving the pizza first thing we noticed is no spinach. Upon taking a bite of it realized actually contains bacon and we do not eat PORK! I was very careful when I ordered to make sure there's no pork products in this pizza and I checked their online menu and delivery service menu. I ended up calling the store and spoke with a manager who told me that the in-store menu says it contains bacon. I did tell her to check her online menu because they're incorrect. She did offer to redeliver another pizza without the bacon or to give us store credit. We opted for the store credit and figured we would give them another chance. I will come back and update my review once we try them again.. read more

Food was good but only issue was their air conditioner. It was hot inside and it didnt really help we were sitting next to the window with the sun beaming down! Didnt really enjoy dinner as we were sweating up a storm. They either need to install shades/install fans/turn down the temperature/not seat people near the windows! read more

This is the second time we have gotten to the restaurant at 8:40pm and were told they were closed. The website and Yelp says the hours are until 10:00 pm. I am very disappointed and hate to say that I will not attempt to go to the restaurant again. The hours online are completely deceiving. read more

In a stylish atmosphere, this family friendly, date-night and friend-night destination will keep you coming back to try the abundant flavors of the menu. Ember + Ale elevates the pizza experience but still keeps it casual and fun. For appetizers, we indulged in the Cheesy Pesto Loaf (don't miss this!) with the delicious marina sauce to dip, and the Whipped Ricotta which provided an elegant and lightly sweet snack before the main course. We chose to get a variety of the smaller pizzas so we could try a few out. It was an abundance of food and great for leftovers! We had Margarita (the balance of sauce and ingredients was delicious), Supreme (nice fresh cut toppings on a thin crispy crust), and The White Cheesy (maybe my favorite with the perfect blend of cheeses that hold their own among the mix and offer a satisfying bite). To finish off, we tried the Cannoli which was a delicious ricotta and crispy wafer with chocolate chips, but I think my favorite (another can't miss and make sure to save room for...) the Crème Brûlée Cheesecake. Our family is a big crème brûlée fan and this may be the best combo of these two with the creamy chilled cheesecake and the perfect brûlée flavor, even a firm top that perfectly resembles a brûlée. The staff were friendly and attentive, eager to present the best. The food came out camera ready, proving what you see on the pictures is truly what you'll have in front of you when you dine. They clearly take pride in what they do and you'll enjoy your experience because of it. read more

Great food. Great beer. A/C was not working. Bar had some BRAVO show on and when I asked the bartender to put on soccer, she said she couldn't find it. It was on Fox. We'll be back. Hopefully the A/C is working read more

Nice new spot in upper providence town center . We ordered a couple of beers , could have been colder , the brisket cheese steak (lacked flavor ) and a plain pizza. Pizza was definitely the star of the show. Service could use some work , they forgot to bring our 2nd round of drinks and a little on the slow side . I will give them another chance in a few months. read more

We have been here several times since they opened. The food is great adn portions are a nice size. I have had the cauliflower crust pizza, salads, the meatballs (I get them as my entree with a side salad), buffalo chicken (smoked flavor), spinach artichoke dip, shortrib cheesesteak sandwich and our favorite appetizer is the sausage bites. I have never had sausage that melts in your mouth like these do! The staff is friendly and the service is always great. It is not a real big place, ceilings are high, so it is not an intimate dining experience if you are looking for that. They are currently closed for lunch and only serving dinner as of 7/29/24 read more

Today was our second visit to Ember + Ale. I had the Ember salad and my husband had the brisket sandwich and potato salad. We shared a pesto and cheese pull-apart loaf and tomato dip. The food was great. The pesto and cheese bread was massive - enough for 4 people easily. But, we managed to finish it. Delicious. read more
