A++++ 1000 stars! I cannot recommend Elyana enough! I wanted dreamy photos that were candid-esque so I got really excited when I came across her website. I honestly had no idea what to expect when working with a professional photographer but her service was exceptional. She's super friendly, easy-going, efficient, and communicative. Everything went unbelievably smoothly. We had Elyana for 2 hours during our elopement and she made it so fun and easy to be in front of a camera. She provided a lot of much-needed direction and our session went by so quickly and smoothly. She even helped grab my veil when I forgot it in my suite! I'm not photogenic so I was nervous about looking like a total derp after many wonderful vendors had put so much work into my hair, makeup, dress, and florals... But her artistic sense and prompting really made for some amazing pictures. She works fast! Sneak peeks and full gallery were received well before their promise dates. Granted, it probably helped that we only had a 2 hour elopement session, but the speedy turnaround time is super appreciated nonetheless. I came across Elyana searching for a photographer in Pasadena where my husband and I were thinking of doing a court house wedding. Since it would be something very small and intimated there was no need to plan it with months or years in advance. I contacted Elyana a month prior to our wedding date which is when my husband and I started planning everything. Elyana was quick to respond and since it would be on a Thursday she was luckily available. About a week after our call my husband and I had a change of plans and we no longer wanted to get married in Pasadena. I came across San Juan Capistrano Mission and I immediately knew that would be the place I wanted to elope. However, after doing some research I found out that you cannot elope inside, it's only available for photography session. Regardless, that was the place I wanted my pictures in. I came up with a plan to get married at a courthouse not too far from there and then have Elyana take the pictures there. I explain to her the change of plans and she was quickly onboard. I always had a vision of how I would want our pictures to turn out. This was very important to us since we were not having a wedding and the pictures would be one of the biggest memories aside from having our close family and friends at the courthouse witnessing our union. I had briefly explain to Elyana in the very beginning that I wanted a chic vibe (I didn't know at that time but later I found out the style I liked was a bit more editorial). I sent one single picture to Elyana about a week before just to give her an idea of what I envisioned. AND SHE FLAWLESSLY DELIVERED. My husband and I are SO extremely happy with the pictures. I am in awe of the work she created. She understood what I was looking for and made it happen. She worked her magic and was so very sweet. Her energy and charisma made our day that much more special. It has been a loooong road leading up to my wedding and without a wedding planner, My days were filled with meetings, phone calls, emails, I mean, has anyone seen My Big Fat Greek Wedding? It was that crazy at my house! My now husband and I searched near and far for the person who would be capturing all of our special moments that would last us a lifetime and I have the bragging rights to say that I found Elyana! If you read my previous review, Elyana was amazing from the start. When we met, I felt at such ease and so taken care of. She is someone who I feel really senses your needs without you having to say a word. Because of that, I feel her photos always come out stunning. She truly does capture a moment that another would have overlooked. When our special day came, she and her second shooter Gina were so in sync that it was so intriguing to observe. They rarely had to speak in full sentences because they already knew what shots to get and the angles I was so impressed! They both made us feel like super stars and so relaxed. Throughout the entire day, My husband and I got compliments on having a great team. They all watched how Elyana and Gina worked and were just as impressed. Once our magical day was over and the wait began, i couldn't believe how quick we received sneak peeks! They were so beautifully done that I couldn't wait to show everyone! Elyana was one of the few photographers I had reached out, but the promptest and most responsive in answering my initial questions. She is savvy, calm, clear with communication, transparent with her pricing structure and always delivered as promised - often times even more! Yes, I have to rave about her! Elyana did such an amazing job photographing our wedding! She included both candid and portriat pictures in our collection, and they are simply breathtaking. She knew when to step in to help us with poses and when to step back and capture the candid moments. I actually had four different locations to be at throughout the day, and she drove to each one and was there ahead of time to set up. She is a very humble person and it made me feel very comfortable to get my pictures taken. We received our pictures when she said they would be ready and they were easily downloaded onto our drive.
