We ended up taking some friendship photos together too. The studio uses one-of-a-kind technology to shoot professional quality photos in a self-portrait photobooth. There are plenty of presets you can choose from and the lighting and background automatically adjust. One of the best features of their system is that you have a live screen feedback that shows you how you look in real time so you can adjust your pose or facial expression. It also shows the photos taken right away. I learned so much about how I photograph just in one session. Also, you can do as many looks as you want! There is a changing area and mirror for you to change into different outfits. I was able to comfortably shoot 3-4 looks in a 60 minute session. Booking was easy and there was plenty of street parking. Merrick, the studio owner and designer/innovator is super nice, very informative and is there if you have any questions. You also get all your photos delivered to you via a Dropbox link the same day. Merrick even made a custom preset for us when one of my girlfriends and I when came in for a "Barbie" themed photoshoot since I wanted a pink backdrop! I was able to snag their promo special. It's so affordable. It's definitely worth a visit if you're looking for headshots, commemorating a milestone or if just want some fabulous photos of yourself.

There's also no pressure as you can take breaks in between, and for shy people, it's a life safer because you can take your time warming up to the camera and try out different shots without worrying that somebody might be judging you. We went as a group of 3 and each of us took some personal headshots plus some group shots. If you come camera ready, there's really plenty of time to do actual shots and the price is great. I was completely blown away by her skills and the final results of my photoshoot. I was nervous initially booking the shoot since I've always felt extremely awkward in front of a camera. I tend to freeze up and have always been told to "relax my face" a million times. Whenever someone is about to take a picture, I suddenly realize I have arms and hands and don't know what to do with them! Enter Cindy. Her sweet, warm, friendly energy put me immediately at ease. It's in an apartment building called The Solair on the second floor; we just parked in guest parking, waited in the lobby, and contacted him when we arrived. He came down to get us and walked us to his studio, which was spacious, clean, and really pretty. There were tons of props and setups available, but since we were just doing a Christmas card shoot, we didn't need much. The studio is also dog friendly, so we were able to bring our two pups for the photos, which was a huge plus. We booked the 25-minute session with two featured photos. Within 24 hours, we got all of our shots and were able to pick a few favorites for edits and prints. The price was very reasonable, and the quality of the photos was excellent. Highly recommend this studio if you want an easy, straightforward process and beautiful photos. Highly recommend!

I would like to preface by saying that I do not have a lot of experience with getting professional…read moreheadshots. I found the pricing (I got the starving artist package), quality, and delivery very satisfactory. I got a couple of good headshots and that is what I was looking for. Erin was able to accommodate me with only one day's notice and turnaround the retouched photographs quite soon which I really appreciate. The setting was outdoors and I preferred that given the Covid situation. The lighting in all the photographs was very good as well. I would recommend taking with you a few photos (that you are trying to mimic pose/angle wise) so you are able to convey exactly the look you are going for. In the absence of a mirror (being outdoors), it would also be helpful to quickly go over the photos mid-session so any missed wardrobe quirks (in my case, a slightly awry collar) can be corrected. The resulting photos are not square which I wanted for my purpose but Erin said she can resize the retouched ones for free. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a good, stress-free, headshot experience!
