Although they've expanded in a big way across our little Island, this Dublin city centre store still is sill the best of the lot. From Leitrim GAA Jerseys to Connaught sweatshirts and the latest football strips from the UK and beyond. They do more then the above though, with Elverys stocking everything from Archery equipment to darts as well equipment for lesser played sports, in Ireland anyway, such as cricket and squash. Worth a look if your looking for that hard to find county jersey or if you take up baseball.

With a discount given after the talk on sales. After seeing these guys in the recent holiday show in the rds I took this second chance to ask more questions and a chance to see the crowd the would partake in such a walk. And I'll let you know yessss I'm doing the walk. Booking only a week off work so fingers crossed I can make the last stage walk of 220km. Would love to do more but work is my bread and butter This event seems to be regular so like 53 FB page or newsletter to be kept informed :)

A pair of runners that's worth 107 euro in most other sports shops, here you can get them for roughly around 55. Now keep in mind that not everything here will be half price but it most certainly will be cheaper. Definitely worth a look. Would have been nice to actually get it inside the shopping center but the West End spot suits it well. It's a very nicely laid out space with plenty of room. This is great due to the variety of stock they have on hand. Any major sport you think of, Nike will have something for it. Staff are friendly too, never had any issues. They seem talkative, attentive and ready to help.

For example I got a pair of Pegasus 31's for only €33 one day ! In my size too! All because there was a sign over the rack that said "Take an additional 20% off the lowest ticketed price. I also love the face that changing rooms have a big picture of the great Steve Prefontaine on the wall-thats what brings me back!

Unfortunately I had another problem with a serious defect in the replacement boots while walking the Camino. Again there was no problem when I returned. They gathered the facts and agreed to replace the boots with a new pair. The customer service was friendly and helpful and common sensed! Ian in particular was great to deal with. Then I was brought my size for a try in the booties I opted for and they seemed right. I tried the next size down just to be sure. And I was. Bish bash bosh, booties got. (I love the fact they are called booties, makes me smile every time) To be honest my visit here today was rushed (as I was tight on time and knew what I wanted), but it appears to have a lot going on in the store. The Great Outdoors brand is a bit pricey though, this and their other main store around the corner are the only shops of their types on this side of town and they know it. But the staff know their stuff and they do stock a good range of gear.
