I found myself at a small shopping center with J & A Flowers nestled in the middle of it. It caught my attention so I stopped by. The store was light and airy, showcasing different styles of potted plants, and a quilt set. I met by a staff member at the door. She was kind and worked with the budget I had in mind for a nice sunflower (wife's favorite). While prepping the flower with additional filler plants for show an older lady and younger lady appeared, getting the blessing of the older lady before presenting the finished product to me. That's when it hit me, I'm looking at three generation from the same family. I truly appreciate family ran businesses. The sunflower received was in perfect condition (sometimes I get bummed when the flower or damaged). Iit looked spectacular and my wife's heart melted when she received it. (My apologies on not taking a pic of the flower, kids distracted me hahahah)

I specifically ordered 1/3 cobble rock based on what I saw there. However, when the truck delivered the material and dumped it in my driveway, I realized the rocks were much smaller and did not match what I had originally selected at the shop. Unfortunately, I didn't check the load in the truck before it was dumped. At that point, I had no real option to refuse the delivery since the rocks were already blocking both my driveway and part of the road. I was forced to move forward and use the material in my landscaping. This experience felt very misleading, and I'm disappointed with the lack of consistency and transparency.
