Upon arrival in store, I was greeted promptly and given a bottle of water by the owner. Afterwards, my stylist, Kiarra, took great care of me and did a wonderful job on the highlights in my hair! The color was matched perfectly to the reference pic I showed her. She was super gentle and detailed throughout all stages. Also, since I'm a perfectionist she helped me with some touch ups and was very thorough in helping catch any places that needed additional fixing. I love that she was super empathetic and understanding about getting every single hair detail just right until I was satisfied (I've definitely noticed other stylists in the past seeming annoyed about fixing up and redoing an area)! They were also able to accommodate me after work same day and gave me some recommendations on products and extensions! Really loved coming here! The staff are wonderful and welcoming, but definitely shout out to Kiarra for her awesome service and passion!

The bleach bled which made me look like I had a skunk mark on my head and was devastated. I was really worried if anyone would be able to make my hair look good again so I looked up "best salon's near me" and Kim Harper Salon came highly recommended. I had my appointment today with JoJo and I couldn't be happier with not only how well I was treated by staff when scheduling, but how amazing of a job Jojo did. It was a little more expensive than I usually spend but it was WELL worth every penny. I went from feeling so low about myself to walking out with a big smile and that's what Kim Harper's salon and JoJo did for me. I couldn't be more thankful and plan to be back for the next time I get my hair done. If you're hesitant, don't be. I'm beyond happy I found this salon and Jojo.

I walked in thinking I made an appt with someone and I actually didn't make the appt. She overheard at the reception and took me in at 4:30pm and did highlights and a cut for me. It's rare to be able to witness such a selfless act these days to go out of the way for someone else. You can tell she truly loves what she does and goes the extra mile for her clients by teaching along the way as well. If you're lucky enough to book with Heather, you're in amazing hands!

Sat I get a call from a man at the salon telling me again about the policy. I've only canceled anything twice in a yr. Is this the 3rd grade? Really!! Well they can stick their policy right up their ass & I will not be going back. Guess they don't know there r at least 15 salons within a 5 mile radius from them.

Most places offer 60 and 90 minute sessions (501 also has these options, but I love the shorter ones). (Note - not sure how accessible this place is - I did not notice an elevator). My masseuse was Ashley, and she was incredible. She walked me through the process knowing I was apprehensive, explained any add ons, and made me feel at ease. She is so good at what she does, and I genuinely cannot wait to go back.

This was unfortunately the most disappointing salon experience I've ever had. The reception team…read morewas lovely, the ambiance is beautiful, and the stylists are kind and professional. However, the results were consistently not what I requested. I brought in an inspiration photo and clearly stated multiple times that I did not want any red tones. The result was noticeably red/orange and looked nothing like the photo. I called the salon, and they were courteous and offered to correct it. The manager was helpful and encouraged me to return to the same stylist so she could learn from the situation. Although I was uncomfortable with that, I agreed as long as there was guidance. At the redo appointment, I again showed the inspiration photo and reiterated my concerns. Unfortunately, I left with hair that was pinkish/reddish/yellow and extremely dry -- again, not aligned with what I requested. The manager did ask if I was happy with it, but with the stylist present, I felt uncomfortable speaking up and said very little. The situation felt awkward and difficult to address in the moment. While the redo was comped, I was charged approximately $150 for a root retouch. Within just a few days, my silver growth was already visible. At this point, I am over $500 into the experience and have left each appointment feeling embarrassed rather than confident. I've decided to move on and find another salon, but I was truly disappointed by how far the final results were from what was clearly communicated.
