They wouldn't have this high of a rating - and I definitely wouldn't have hired them if the reviews were a reflection of what it is like to actually work with this company. It's been an over a month and they are still calling me to try to bully me into removing my review. I had to block them. Update 5.24.26 - our deck is peeling and needs to be completely redone. Hiring this company was one of the biggest mistakes I've ever made as a homeowner. They didn't show up when they said they would -- multiple times. Not only did they fail to arrive as promised, they also didn't bother to call and let me know. I rearranged my schedule and even took two full days off work so I could be home for them to complete tasks that required my presence, and they didn't even do the work. That alone shows a complete lack of respect for their customers' time. When they finally did show up, the quality of the work was horrendous. Instead of taking the time to tape off or remove hardware from our deck, they just painted right over it. They left paint on my windows, killed plants, and left overspray on multiple surfaces that should never have been touched. To make matters worse, the product they used on the deck allows the natural knots in the wood to bleed through, leaving the finished result looking blotchy, unfinished, and downright atrocious. I've had to call them back several times to fix sloppy mistakes, yet issues still aren't resolved. Their crews clearly rush, cut corners, and show no pride in their work. Customer service has been dismissive, unprofessional, and completely unwilling to take real responsibility. After all of this, their idea of compensation was a measly $200 credit for the damage and disruption -- an insulting gesture compared to the cost, stress, and time I've lost. This company lacks professionalism, accountability, and basic respect for customers. If you value your time, your property, and your sanity, do yourself a favor and avoid this company at all costs.

A putrid brown shade graced every one of our 2,000+ square feet complete with very visible roller marks in our 2 story entry way. Now, I've painted my fair share of walls in the past, having owned two previous homes and never having hired a professional. But I was overwhelmed. There was just too many walls! The entry way is too tall, I could never do this myself! I brought out a few companies to give me estimates and was pleasantly surprised with Ryan from Good Guys Painters. Not only was his estimate the lowest of three, but I was pleased with how friendly and competent he seemed. I was also thrilled that he said his guys could start the following Monday. I was beyond excited to know that nasty brown hue was on its way out for good! The team of three guys showed up promptly on Monday morning, threw down tarps and got right to work. They all even brought clean shoes so they could leave their snow boots at the door! They did a great job and the work was precise. And a big job that I was initially told could take 2-2 1/2 days took ONE DAY!! It was a long one, from about 8:30 am to after 7 pm, but it was amazing the amount of work these guys busted out in one day! After having Drew and his crew successfully paint the exterior of our home last spring (2025), we…read morehired them again in October 2025 to refinish our deck and railings. It was important to us to have the work done before the winter, however, because the weather had been rainy and was getting colder, we expressed concern about timing and relied on Drew's professional judgment. If the work needed to wait until spring, that was okay. He assured us the conditions were acceptable and that the work would hold up, but if a few areas needed attention after winter, he would return to 'touch up'. Initially, the deck looked good, and we paid in full. Unfortunately, within just a few weeks, the paint began peeling and flaking off across the entire deck and railings. The attached pictures show the deck less than 6 months after the work was completed.  Although most of the deck had been previously painted, there were several areas where boards had been replaced.  The paint is not adhering to any of it.  As a result, we are now left with a severely deteriorated deck after paying for what we believed would be a professional job. Since raising these concerns shortly after completion, Drew has been unwilling to return to inspect the work or discuss how to make it right.  At this point, he has stopped responding altogether. The condition of our deck is terrible, and we've had multiple neighbors and visitors ask what happened. While it's embarrassing, we've been honest with them about both the quality of the work and the lack of follow-through.  Drew is dismayed we shared our experience with them and has informed us that based on our sharing, our relationship is over. He will not return to discuss or remedy in any way. In hindsight, this experience mirrors a negative review we previously read which Drew dismissed when we first hired him. We trusted his explanation of that review at the time (difficult client), but unfortunately, we now find we should have trusted the review and gone another way.
