As my 7 yr old said "I could use positive words all day to describe him". Our young children are at ease and assured in his care. My husband is also comfortable in entrusting him. He is also a general surgeon and will carry out minor procedures when needed. It is usually quite easy to get an appointment with him and he is generally quite prompt. He is LOVELY - he is always caring and interested in your life beyond the health-related reason for your visit. Dr Sundin is also nice and smiley and kind, as is Dr Lee. While the practice doesn't bulk bill, you get what you pay for - a full consultation with the doctor, his or her full attention and an accurate diagnosis. As those who frequent bulk-billing practices will know, this is not always the case. There can sometimes be a bit of a wait, but if you go early in the morning or ring to see if the doctor is on time, this can be avoided. If you want a GP, then look no further.

I'd particularly like to acknowledge Ourania at reception, who was exceptional in the lead-up to my procedures. She was incredibly helpful, professional and reassuring, and made the whole process so much easier. On the day, Rio and Melanie were wonderful. Both nurses were extremely attentive, caring and professional, and I felt genuinely well looked after throughout the entire experience. The whole team was fantastic; friendly, efficient and compassionate from start to finish. What could easily have been an uncomfortable or stressful experience was made so much easier by the care and professionalism of everyone involved. A huge thank you to Ourania, Rio, Melanie and the entire team. Your exceptional service and genuine care are very much appreciated.

But she never asked questions relating to my lifestyle and presentation, in fact I felt she was quite judgemental and disapproving, which was not at all helpful. Could have saved me a lot of pain and help to avoid placing myself in dangerous situations had she taken the time to delve a little and ask a few questions. I never forgot this, it had such a huge impact on my life, not having anyone who cared enough to take an interest and have a chat.

There are of course free clinics to get your child immunized but I like the personal approach rather than the production line 'next!' style of some clinics. I did quick search on Google for GP's in my area and came across plenty of reviews on Dr Linda Morton highlighting her supportive and family oriented approach. Taking your baby to get a needle jabbed in her arm isn't the pleasant of experience as any new mum will confirm. The doctor was gentle and quick which I appreciated but wasn't as warm and welcoming as I'd have liked given it was my first visit. I felt a bit rushed and walked out not feeling compelled to go back. My community nurse recommended another doctor in the area. Dr Morton is good for those who like the old home style feel rather than a clinical polished surgery.

Jason advised this was not possible as I would need to go in for a consultation - I advised that I understand that, but because I had already seen the Dr and been provided with a script - could be please ask a Dr and he was not even willing to ask - he told me he just wouldn't. Now I understand there are policies in place but had Jason just showed some decent curiosity and asked a simple question to a Dr I would of felt "heard" - especially when I'm clearly feeling stressed over my bag being stolen. Jason, buddy, you have really made what I consider a constant joy of a Drs surgery to attend - into a negative experience that I will not forget anytime soon.
