The receptions were friendly, the waiting area is very neat, clean and spacious and the doctors rooms were comfortable. The doctor and nurse that I had were very nice and thorough however I have one picky thing, which in hindsight is I feel annoyed about. My child had been sick for a few weeks and I was feeling the sleepless nights catching up with me so wasn't all together present. I'd overheard the receptionist say that the doctor and nurse I was seeing were running late for something, a flight perhaps. Though I was really grateful I'd got an appointment the morning I'd booked it I was not so happy to feel rushed through it. I consider myself a fairly efficient person and don't tend to dilly dally around subjects yet I felt we didn't quite have their full attention - the nurse in particular. Saying this I will certainly go back as it's likely this was a one off and my sister has nothing but great things to say about the doctors here. Cammery Medical Practice is open out of hours if you make an appointment before hand. A standard 15 minute consultation costs $75 or $55 of 0-12 year olds. No bulk billing or concessions either except for childhood immunisations, those with DVA Gold Cards or Aged Pension Cards.

All while we were laughing together and she was doing about three other things at once. I snooped and looked her up on the internet before I went to her. I could only find one page with reviews..so here's another! The best part is that she is gentle and briliant at operating on you. It went so smoothly i didn't even need a painkiller afterwards! Having been discharged today, and having been there for two weeks, I can only say positive things about Alwyn Rehabilitation Hospital. The staff were not only friendly but thoroughly professional. I prefer professionalism to friendly every time, but when you get both then that is a bonus. From maintenance staff to medical staff, everybody, without exception, was completely certain of his or her duties and performed them to the highest standard and always courteously and efficiently. The medical and nursing staff always had time for questions and one never felt rushed or under pressure. Hospital food is always a bit of a running joke among patients but the food at Alwyn is fresh, beautifully prepared, carefully presented and no reasonable requests seem to be too much for the excellent kitchen staff. The physiotherapy staff is alert, keen, highly trained, expertly attuned to individual needs and abundantly clear in their instructions. In fifty-one years of teaching, conducting orchestras, making music and working with people all over the world, I believe I know something about the ways in which organizations work. The best thing I can say about this organization is that I would recommend Alwyn Rehabilitation Hospital to anyone who needs good rehab, strong care, personal attention, professional help and excellent physio. We had to arrive early in the morning but were then told to go out for an hour or two while we waited. I couldn't eat or drink but the nurse directed my parents towards some shops down the road. They then took my number down in case I had to come back earlier. The nurse tried to take my mind away from the thought of surgery and even let me wear my ugg boots into the operating room. I woke up and was transported back to my parents. Post care was also excellent. They would regularly check on me for a few hours before sending me on my way home. I highly recommend Hunters Hospital and their nurses to those who are anxious about surgery.
