They had given my appointment time taway to someone else. The front desk lady was very rude! I was mind blown at how rude she was that I didn't even make another appointment. It was such a turn of and very obvious customer service does not matter at all here. I guess when you have all the patience you need why treat people nice. It was very disheartening because I really wanted to see Dr. Sifuentes.

Review for Saratoga location on the Southside (several locations available)…read moreI went to this Urgent Care on October 29, 2017 for excruciating right shoulder pain and just not feeling very well at all. I received a right shoulder Xray (pain was not due to any trauma or injury) and some lab work, assuming it was an impending virus maybe beginning to attack my joints as I had no cough, congestion, fever, n/v/d, chest pain, shortness of breath. I should clarify by saying I am a nurse practitioner and was seen by a fellow NP, Mr. Skinner, on a Sunday evening. After briefly reviewing the Xray, I was sent home with stronger non-narcotic pain medication and pending results. I was called with urgency 2 days later when the radiologist noticed a large spot on my right upper chest from the right shoulder Xray. A stat chest CT scan was promptly set up and ordered, and I was called back with all the details of where to go and what time. I was kept abreast of the situation at all times by the two NPs working that day, Becky and Kilea. Trust, it is still scary to hear you have a 5cm mass on your chest no matter what you do for a living. Although I suspected pneumonia to be the most likely cause, mainly in that I am a healthy non-smoker who does not eat meat, is in her early 40s, does not use drugs, rarely drinks, and has no significant medical problems like asthma, autoimmune disorders, or heart issues, the NP in me did consider other scarier possibilities. Thankfully, it was just pneumonia. I was promptly placed on antibiotics and inhalers and encouraged to return for any lingering issues or pain. I ended up returning 3 days later on Friday, as I was still having some pain, and was given an injection of Toradol with a plan for further testing Monday if needed. I saw Kilea NP in person at this visit and she was truly superb. I finally started to feel better by Monday so I did not have to undergo any more tests. The whole staff is amazing. I have pretty high standards and expectations from my fellow professionals and I was beyond impressed. I know what goes on behind the scenes and how busy we can be, and yet, I felt as though more than sufficient time was spent exploring all possibilities, alleviating my anxiety, and answering my questions. I highly recommend coming here for any of your urgent care needs. I avoided the ER (and I work in an ER!) and received some of the best care I have witnessed in my life. Who would have ever guessed that the worst pain I have ever had in my life would be in my shoulder and from pneumonia? Thank you, the Doctors UC on Saratoga!

They don't check you in, they tell you to scan a bar code and then you scan your license and insurance. It might be efficient but it certainly is an annoyance. An elderly woman who came in after me was completely overwhelmed by the self check in. The facility itself looks very neglected, peeling paint, no floorboards, cracked stucco, it just felt unclean. I would not choose this facility again.

It takes WEEKS (in one specific case, MONTHS) for basic referrals or prescriptions for necessary medical supplies to be issued. You cannot get this office on the phone, all you get to do is leave a message and hope they actually call back, which the never do. The only time we can get a call back is if we are scheduling an office visit. The rest of the staff is very rude and unprofessional. While my parents enjoy Dr. Curtis, I would not recommend him to anyone, just based off of his staff and the disorganization of the rest of his office.

My husband went, and loved him. So my husband sent me. I LOVE THIS MAN. He listens, he is attentive, he checks and double checks. I have had chronic anemia, he hunted for a reason, unlike 3 other Dr who just handed me pills. More importantly, he listened to me about pain and other symptoms and sent me to a specialist. It turns out I had a fairly serious autoimmune disease, other Dr blowing me off has allowed for permanent damage. I would not have been diagnosed correctly if it was not for Dr Carr. He gave me so much back, by being an awesome Dr. If I call in the morning with an issue some always get back to me. If I need to get in, they have same day appointments. .

I have my labs done every year prior to coming in so they can have time to read the results and I don't have to make an additional trip. As usual, here is sit because they haven't read my labs. First question I asked walking into the exam room based off of years of ineptness. Sorry, sir, they haven't been looked at yet but we will right now. That's after sitting in the waiting room for 35 minutes beyond my appt time. These people are always slow and never prepared for a patient. Loathe entirely in my best Grinch voice.

Been coming here a couple years. I haven't been able to get through to their phone the past week it…read moregoes straight to voicemail. I've tried calling at all different times of the work day. Not a good doctor for those who work as it's hard to get the phone answered to even make an appointment. I had nice experiences with the staff while being seen. Getting prescriptions refilled can be a challenge. I was out of birth control and had an appointment for a follow up scheduled the next month and they told me I would have to wait so that was inconvenient and messed up my body.

Dr Michael Reyes is the most qualified surgeon that I have ever used and I have had many hernia…read moresurgeries. This time I had one ventral hernia that had been repaired twice before and two inguinal hernia's that were very painful. He was genuinely concerned before surgery since I had an umbilical hernia surgery in 2003 and recalled mesh was used which broke and punctured my upper and lower bowels. That one turned into nine total surgeries to get it right, so I have been in surgery hell. He did mine robotically and had to use five incisions to do it correctly. The day after surgery and for about four days total the pain was the worst that I have ever had BUT the surgery took almost five hours and involved a lot of adhesion and other growth removal just so that he could sew in the mesh. It is now day eight and I feel much better and I know that he did the best that he could do. I saw absolutely zero racism because I am white which was mentioned by another negative reviewer. I am also a veteran and we all know that the VA never pays the total bill and that had zero bearing on my treatment. All of these negative reviews with problems are more to blame on the reviewers and not Surgery Associates. I highly recommend Dr Michael Reyes !!!

He then referred me to Dr Martin for pre-surgery tests. I saw him on May 11. Because there were no appointments at Spohn South until August for an upper GI, I had it done at DeTar Navarro in Victoria on May 18. Since then I have waited for a call concerning having an endoscopy with Dr Martin. I have called numerous times only to be sent to voice mail boxes that are full. I finally spoke with Jared a couple of weeks ago and he said my referral was expired. Could I come in for another apartment. I said no, and he promised to speak to Dr Martin and get back to me. STILL WAITING!
