When I entered this small but charming establishment I was greeted warmly by Ann Marie, who as it turns out was the owner. It had a large wooden split level horseshoe bar where I sat in one of the comfy old fashioned wooden barstools. Although not a huge selection of beers and spirits, it was ample enough considering this is basically a local bar catering for the small local community. I opted for an ice cold Guinness which was as good as any I have tasted recently. Atmosphere was pleasant with photos of regulars through the years adorning the walls, which Ann Marie was more than happy to take me thru, with some hilarious stories thrown in. All in all a very pleasant couple of hours which I would highly recommend. read more
