If you are seeking a therapist who you can be comfortable with and trust completely, contact Jill immediately! Like many of you reading this, I, too, was on yelp searching for someone who I could connect to and who would be able to see the essence of who I am through the murky angst I was suffering from. After reading the reviews for Jill's practice, I forced myself to give her a call and was so relieved to get a quick response. I was able to get an appointment and knew immediately that Jill was someone who I would be able to trust and confide in. I started seeing Jill weekly back in January of 2018 (again, she is life changing). Jill helped me to begin to work through so many different issues that I was finding difficulty in overcoming (self identity, parental issues, anxiety, etc.). She allowed me to cry, share my thoughts aloud, let things go, breathe, challenge myself, and so much more. It is because of Jill's understanding and encouragement that I began to heal myself. Jill has so many wonderful traits that I will never be able to put in words for anyone who is reading this review. She allows you to do the work while guiding you through your thoughts and emotions. I felt like an actual human and not a case file during my sessions with her. She is such a grounded, badass woman who has one of the most kind spirited personalities. Jill communicates clearly and in a way that you sure to understand. In short, if you are seeking a therapist, contact Jill Lewis. She is a wonderful human being (seriously an understatement)! If you're willing to do the work, she will meet your commitment tenfold. Contact her now! It will not be a decision that you regret! You deserve to feel whole!

About a year ago, I wrote a review for Jill on here and it was flagged and eventually deleted,…read moreprobably because I hadn't written any other Yelp reviews and wasn't very active on the site.. So here I am, re-posting one, which in itself should help you understand how important this is. Let me try to recall what I had previously written: Having been to many therapists - some when I didn't really want the help and some after I decided I wanted to get healthy. What I've come to realize is that Jill is the absolute best therapist, but ONLY if you are ready to get help. If you don't want to get help and if you plan on lying through your sessions, you won't like her. What I mean by that is she's not dumb and you're not fooling her, even if you think you are. And if you're trying, it's just a waste of money. I'm not saying this from experience. In fact, when I had Jill as an individual therapist as well as group therapist, I was more than ready to be in a better place. I know this because even in my willing mind, it was challenging. I find myself to be pretty well connected to my emotions, how I'm feeling and why, my upbringing, relationships, etc etc..and even still, Jill was able to make so many connections that I hadn't. I felt I knew the ins and outs of how therapy works, and I addressed that with Jill. I questioned what she was thinking about what I was saying and talked about myself as an individual vs myself as a patient. I was able to bring up the topic of therapy as well as all of the issues that brought me there in the first place. Jill's office became a place where no subject was off limits. I know it seems like that is what therapy should be, but very rarely have I felt comfortable enough with a therapist to really open up. As much as I may have made it seem like she's tough, she's also one of the nicest people I've ever met, especially in her industry. I have been in a healthy relationship for 3 years and just got engaged. I have thru-hiked the entire Appalachian Trail last year, and am currently writing this review from the Pacific Crest Trail. I am strong enough to physically, mentally, and emotionally be able to participate in the lifestyle that I love, alongside a person I love - two things I would have never been able to do had it not been for Jill. If you are living in Atlanta or in the surrounding area, know that there is a fantastic therapist that is very missed in New York and who is sure to change lives wherever she goes.. And if you go to her, tell her I say hi :)

EVERYBODY who works in this office is unreasonable unethical, and non-empathetic. From the…read morereceptionist to the physicians to office manager Deen to Dr. Ronnie Blunt himself, they do not care they make you wait hours and hours to be seen. They continuously miss schedule people and they do not care what you're going through as a human being. They look at people like drug addicts , when all my drug test have been clean so I'm very very far from a drug addict. I came to Dr. blunts office for help. I DID NOT get that. FRIDAY 10th I had a TeleMed with Dr. Blunt. The receptionist called me and told me to hold for my telehealth appointment at 11:01 AM I stayed on hold to talk to Dr. Blunt for 52 minutes. I was abruptly hung up on which I thought the office would call me back, I was highly mistaken. Never call me back after a couple of minutes. I called them back at which point I was advised by the receptionist the doctor wanted me to come in the office. I said OK but I live 1 1/2 hours away you want me to get into a wreck trying to get there in Friday traffic ? She asked where was I I told her and she said come on and even stayed on the phone with me for over an hour while I was driving there. She told me when I arrived Dr. Blunt wouldn't see me knowing this why didn't she say that while I was on the phone waiting over a hour driving there ? She said he has an appointment that he had to leave the office and get to. At this point, I was highly upset. I was having a panic attack/anxiety attack at which no point I was offered water assistance or offered any kind of empathy. I asked to speak with the office manager, which was Dean. I explain the situation to him. He basically said oh well there's nothing he could do. There was no sorry there was no Can I get you anything? Can I get you some tissue? Nothing they treated me so inhumane to the point my mental health was spiraling to not a good place. They asked me to come back Saturday at 1:30 to see physician Judy. I said OK I asked the receptionist. Can I use the restroom before I leave She told me No Dr blunts about to come out. Can you just leave so we don't have to call Bibb county there's a Burger King on the corner I asked her where is the empathy? So I drove 1 1/2 on Sat to get there and speak with the physician for her to tell me she was keeping everything the same she said my folder, lack notes For the past several months I've been seeing Dr. Blunt. She apologize for the way that I was treated and she also told me that she is QUITTING the office and that she will no longer be working there because of how the staff there treat patients. Noticing my prescription wasn't called in , I turned back around becayse nobody's answering the phone for the receptionist to tell me that Judy the physician couldn't call in my prescription. So She said that she's gonna call Dr. Blunt and see what's going on and tell him everything that transpire She called Dr. Blunt, which he said he was calling in my prescription To my surprise, I sat there for 30 minutes, waiting for the verification from my pharmacy . The pharmacy advised me that all my prescriptions were not called in at which point I asked the receptionist what was going on at that point she advised me he DC my medication. For What ? She said she doesn't know that it's just in the system as DC. I found this appalling and I was very caught off guard As you can see in my urine, I take my medication every day and I don't use any drugs. I don't understand how a doctor like. Dr. Blunt can just cut off somebody's medication if there hasn't been any issues. So you're telling me as a doctor It's OK to give somebody medication for several months and then just cut their medication off for no reason that's OK and that's humane? This behavior that the staff all have shown is disgusting, especially working for an officer that claims to help people with their mental health. I find this distasteful disgusting and very, very inhumane. The actions From ALL SO CALLED STAFF ARE ALARMING.All you did was cause me TRAUMA. SAD just retire if you don't care !!

If you are looking for a client-centered, empathetic, and reliable "always-in-your-corner"…read morepsychologist / therapist, Dr. Blue is just that (and more). I've been seeing Dr. Blue since 2020 and reached out to him during the latter of 2019. It started as weekly, transitioned to bi-weekly sessions, and finally tapered off to monthly sessions. My mental health has improved since the introduction of Dr. Blue, and he's helped me get through some pretty difficult chapters of my life. He has incredible compassion, is knowledgeable, and is insightful with decades of experience. Dr. Blue is patient and optimistic yet realistic. He seeks deeper connections and is constantly looking to change as you need and while you experience setbacks and moments of growth. His office also accepts a wide variety of insurances (i.e. UnitedHealthcare). Therapy often has a social stigma that you're considered "broken" after experiencing a setback; it doesn't have to be that way. Having a healthy mindset is helpful in one's life and the choices we make. Having Dr. Blue in your corner is the first step to healing. I cannot even describe how much he has encouraged, challenged, and helped me. He is someone who creates a wonderfully safe and therapeutic space where I feel comfortable and able to be vulnerable. Dr. Blue is a therapist who makes a difference in the lives of clients fortunate enough to work with him!
