I cannot say enough about my experience and how well my color turned out with Allison. She is absolutely amazing. She took the time to listen to what I was going for for my hair. It turned out exactly the way I wanted and even better. I can't wait to go back next month. I would highly recommend this salon and Allison!! I just had my third color appointment with Allison to go lighter and it turned out amazing as usual!! I cannot wait for February for another treatment! Allison and Elle Salon rocks!! P.S. I always get so many compliments on how beautiful my hair looks. So kudos to Allison! read more

I just moved to the area and had a hard time finding a salon that I liked until I stumbled upon this salon. Their website had everything that I wanted to know when looking for a new salon and it was very easy to make appointments online. I scheduled a consult since I went from a blonde to a dark color and the staff was nothing but professional and helpful. My hairstylist Amanda did a great job giving me the perfect fall/winter color I was looking for. I will definitely be going back! read more

I recommend Lauren to everyone I talk to. She is the BEST! When I first moved here I was scared to find a new stylist but not anymore. She is so easygoing with conversation it's like I've known her for years. Plus wine and an awesome haircut? Plus plus plus! read more

I was reluctant about getting my first haircut here, and now that I have, I will NOT be returning. From first impressions, nobody greeted me or welcomed me when I came in. I stood there and waited for a few minutes without being greeted or asked if I would like a drink while I waited. My hairstylist, Laura approached me and said to follow her. She immediately asked me what I wanted and I showed her some pictures and felt like I did a thorough job of describing to her the look that I wanted. She then took me over to wash my hair. The place seemed empty. I was the only customer on one side of the salon. When Laura rinsed my hair, the water was scorching hot. Thankfully, she turned it down a bit, but it could've been cooler. She should know that hot water damages your hair. While cutting my hair, she kept the conversations going. I don't mind keeping a conversation but I also like to be conscious of the job that they're doing and keeping their concentration. However, she seemed to fail her focus when she didn't double check her work with evening out my ends on both sides. Usually the hairstylist will pause and take moments to go back and make sure it's even all the way around. She moved quickly and went on to blow drying. I think the volume of the blow dry disguised the flaws of the haircut. I wish she would've taken more time with me and giving more attention to the details. As sharp my eyes are in noticing these details, I think a good hairstylist should do the same. I felt like I was a rushed job and when I went to use the bathroom and came out, she was working on another customer, even though she told me that I was her last customer and that she wasn't even informed by the receptionist that I was booked for her. There's a clear lack of communication and might I add, professionalism at this business. Upon waiting to pay, there was a problem with a customer at the desk and I just stood there without being acknowledged. The receptionist changed and she didn't say anything to me except for the transaction. No warmth or friendliness whatsoever. There are literally tons of hair salons in the area and I am certainly not coming back here for their poor customer service. Since I've gone home and taken a shower, I had to grab my own scissors and fix the bad haircut. My bangs were uneven and my left side of my hair was longer. Even today, you can still see the flaws. She also cut my bangs way too thick. I'm constantly pinning them back and wearing a headband because of how annoying it is. Lesson learned. read more

This salon is absolutely the best in the area. I have been following Elle for years and was thrilled when she opened her own salon a few years ago. All of the employees are super friendly, very attentive and best of all, they are ALL REALLY GREAT at what they do. The organic coloring system is really amazing, no more smelly products that will burn and itch. If you have ever had burning or itching when you've had your hair colored, try the organic coloring system, you won't ever want to go back to your old coloring system. I would absolutely recommend this salon to anyone. read more

Tammi gives the BEST massages I ever had in my life! I would drive over 2 hours if I had to in order to get the best massage and the best treatment. She concentrates on what you need and what is hurting. You will never be disappointed with her. The entire staff is courteous, and you definitely feel welcomed when you arrive. It's best to make an appointment in advance. Nails, hair, massages, makeup, etc. Check out their website for more. I had my hair cut by Laura and really enjoyed her styles. read more

I have been going to this salon since it opened and I love it! Wonderful staff, very attentive and friendly. I followed my stylist to every salon she has worked at and this by far is my favorite. It is set in a Tudor style building and you have to walk to the back (through an interior hallway) to enter the salon. The salon itself is a beautiful and serene in warm brown tones yet very bright thanks to a wall of windows overlooking the creek. The pedicure/manicure room is set back from the salon and offers fabulous massage chairs. The quality of the products (OPI and Essie) is excellent. I have not used the organic/natural hair products yet, but have heard from others they are good. Pricing is a bit less expensive than it had been a previous salons but the expertise is top notch. I would not hesitate to recommend this salon to friends and family. read more

I was disappointed with my hair color, understanding that sometimes it takes time to get the right color blonde in my hair. The stylist was very kind and worked with me. I then went in for my color correction and was told prior to my appointment there would be no charge 2 times by the previous receptionist to get my hair corrected.. I went to check out and the salon coordinator told me that I owed $30.00 for the wash and blowout... ( so I'm assuming that you just wash the color out and go.. and not check the color out/ I have never heard of this)...The salon coordinator was not pleasant. After all I was the one that was upset with my hair to begin with... I will not be going back... the stylist was very kind and ended up fixing the color.. it just would have been nice to know I was going to get charged for washing and blow drying my hair... very poor communication read more

This is my favorite hair salon and has been the one I go to exclusively for the past 7 years. The ladies who work here are professional and genuine. I have had my hairdresser do everything from cutting off 12 inches of hair, to purple ombré, and black to grey ombré. I have never walked out of the salon unhappy and have also referred my friends as well. Thank you to the Elle Salon staff for all of your hard work! read more

The customer service is appalling, especially for a high end salon. I spent an hour and a half in extreme traffic trying to get to the salon and I called them; they assured me that they would fit me in, at least for color. I arrived and I was told there would be no time for color and that the stylist I was assigned to did "not trust" any others to do my hair color so I had to reschedule. After an hour and a half on the road, a promise I would be fit in, all for nothing. I also have to find babysitting again now for my next appointment (at another, more professional salon). read more

Love this place! It's clean and well-decorated. The staff are friendly, kind, and accommodating. I have been seeing Shana for years for haircuts and always leave happy. She recently dyed my hair for the first time, and I continue to marvel about how fabulous it looks. I've been to a lot of high-end salons over the years, and Elle is by far the best. read more

On my first visit I was not really impressed with the receptionist. She was not friendly or welcoming. I really did like Shana she was awesome and I loved my hair. On my second visit the girl at the reception area was once again not friendly and very unfriendly. I have since found a place that treats everyone the same. read more

If I could give less than one star I would. I have never ever been so disappointed and disrespected by any establishment in my entire life. I have worked in the service industry and understand sometimes people don't like the product and you fix it. Well Elle salon turned my blonde hair pink and I left the salon bawling and they wouldn't fix it or reimburse me. The hair dresser came out rude and blaming everyone but herself. I have told everyone I know never to go to this establishment. It is the most disrespectful and worst run place I have ever been in. Shame on you Elle salon and your little respect for your clients. Never been to such an AWFUL salon. read more

Found this place on Yelp and im so happy I did! Amanda gave me the exact cut I wanted! The salon is beautiful and charming, the front desk was helpful and very welcoming on the phone and when I was checking in and out. Amanda really made my experience special, she offered me a beverage right away, had a thorough consultation with me before we started, and made me feel extremely comfortable during the cut. I am excited to go back and try out other services in the near future. read more

I am a fairly new client to Elle Salon and am so thankful that a friend referred me! Lauren is the best! Here attention to detail and patience are unparalleled. I will certainly be referring many people to Elle! read more

I am updating my original review of this place. The receptionists who answer the phone and cash you out at the end are snooty, and not friendly. It isn't a very welcoming environment and I will take my money to a salon that greets me when I walk thru the door. I gave 2 stars because Shana and Jessica both were nice and professional when they did my hair. read more

Rude. Talked about my daughters hair to another client. I would never go back. I was there with a bridal party. They want to be an upscale salon but they need to have class in order to do that. read more

Great experience! I was nervous to try lash extensions but Lauren guided me through the entire process and they are wonderful! I never thought I would love something so frivolous so very much. I had them applied last month to test them out and was apprehensive since I am allergic to some glues. She has incredible patience to glue each one of those pieces onto my own existing microscopic lashes. By the way, I just went today for more lashes and had an up-do for a major event and Lauren is amazing at up-do's as well. I have lived for years in this area and never knew such a gem of a salon was here. read more
