From start to finish, Nicole was great to work with, and the photographs that she and Adam produced captured the excitement and emotions of our day perfectly. We were initially drawn to Nicole after looking through her portfolio and getting a sense of her style and familiarity with our venue. We wanted our photo gallery to show a timeless story of our wedding, and based on her previous work and our conversation with her before signing the contract, we felt that she would do a great job with that (and we were correct)! Nicole asked us to complete a pre-wedding questionnaire that allowed us to provide detailed direction about our wedding photography. We could tell by the thoughtful questions that Nicole was very experienced in her craft, and it forced us (in a good way) to think through some of our specific plans for the day. On the day of the wedding, Nicole and Adam were a calm presence and did a great job of capturing our moments without feeling obtrusive. They also were flexible and able to roll with our spontaneous requests. When we went from wanting to do sunset photos, to posed pictures with each dinner table, back to sunset photos, and finally to neither, all within the span of 30 minutes, it didn't seem to faze them. For our posed shots, Nicole had many creative ideas for not only our positions, but how to incorporate the unique architecture of our venue. Ahead of the wedding, we asked Nicole to make sure she captured candid shots of the guests throughout the day, and it was wonderful getting access to our gallery and seeing those joyful moments. Overall, working with Nicole and Adam was a great experience and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a professional photographer!

Benjamin had a call with us beforehand to find out what was important to us. On the day of the wedding, he arrived early to stake out the best light and backgrounds. Great family and ceremony photos, especially the unposed shots which caught the moments so well. For the reception he captured everything start to finish, and the guests all loved him. He knows the Luxe cruise boats and staff so well, and when and where to get great scenery shots. The best photos were with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background at sunset, particularly the whole group at the back of the boat. After the event, he carefully curates the photos to tell the story of your Big Day. I highly recommend Benjamin. He's the best!

Five stars are not enough, simply put. As a bride planning her wedding, pouring through portfolios…read moreof photographers, it's really difficult to make a choice. From the very first phone call with Benjamin, I was captured by his energy and charisma. When we met him for our engagement shoot, we left with such a sense of confidence in that choice. The engagement photos were EXTRAORDINARY, and made us so excited to have Ben capture our big day. In the months and weeks leading up to our wedding, Ben was a pillar of support and organization. My MOH told me that it's important to choose a photographer whose personality you really vibe with, because you spend so much intimate time with that person on your wedding day. Let me just say, it's true, and I could NOT have chosen better. The day of the wedding, Ben showed up and it was like a good friend had just walked into the room. He kept us all calm yet thrilled, relaxed yet excited, and poised yet present. I got every single photo I dreamt of getting on that day, plus SO many more that my husband and I will cherish for the rest of our lives. Ben is a genuine master of his craft. Planning and pulling off a wedding requires a whole lot of energy, money, time, and thoughtfulness...and in the end, it's just one day. One day that you enjoy with every fiber of your being, but which inevitably feels like a beautiful blur. To possess a gallery and album of photos like the one Ben has given us...there is simply no greater gift. These photos are worth their weight in gold, to say the very least. Several friends have described our photos as "a fairytale wedding straight out of Vogue". I thank my lucky stars that Benjamin was the one to capture our day. Part of what made our photos so extraordinary is the instant chemistry that formed between us and Ben, and the familiarity and ease he invoked on our wedding day (a day of gorgeous chaos and nervous anticipation!). I cannot emphasize enough how important that factor was. He really knew how to alchemize that energy. Additionally, Ben is just seriously a genius behind the lens. The skill and mastery involved to be able to create this kind of art from two living, breathing human beings blows my mind. I could still just pinch myself that it was all real, and that we have this amazing gallery of photos to prove it. They are beyond my wildest dreams. I was there, I lived it, I experienced how gorgeous it was - and yet the photos tell us the vibrant story of our very own fairytale wedding like we are seeing it with brand new eyes. I am so stunned and proud that this was OUR wedding! The takeaway is this: outside of the incredible groom I was marrying and the presence of my family, the photography was the next most important aspect of my wedding day. I deeply craved a tangible record of this monumental day, this rite of passage, and this magical experience that I knew would pass in the blink of an eye but that I'd want to relive forever. What I ended up with was so much more than I ever anticipated. It's every photograph that I wanted, but it's also a tale told to me in the most beautiful language possible. It tells me our story and takes me through the experience of my own wedding day through a lens much more powerful than the human eye can process in the moment. Benjamin is the whole package, delivering a hybrid of raw talent, dynamic personality, skilled precision, and seamless execution. This is THE person you want running the cameras on your wedding day. Take it from me. My husband and I give 20 stars.

Jenny and Geo (her husband and assistant photographer) are very responsive, professional, and committed to providing you all the shots you want. My husband and I hired JennyDee Photography for both our Engagement and Wedding photography and we could not be more pleased. We had multiple calls in the months leading up to the wedding to align on what we wanted, discussed the overall wedding timeline, and provided the list of shots we wanted. Their website also has example timelines for photography, which were very helpful as we planned our day and allowed us to not compress everything too much. Working with Jenny and Geo is also a great experience. They are organized, funny, kind, and encouraging -- they will help pose you as needed, but generally allow for a very genuine capture of the day. They are also very organized and will help keep things moving efficiently without being overbearing -- I could trust that they would get all the shots we needed without feeling like I needed to check in, and both posed and candid shots were phenomenal. Finally, all the photographs we received from JennyDee Photography (in less than a month!) are joy and whimsy personified. They managed to capture the color, vibrancy, and happiness of that day in the photographs -- I couldn't stop smiling the whole time I reviewed the gallery. The photography and editing style is so vibrant, genuine and fun in a sea of very muted photography nowadays-- I will lovingly look at the pictures for years to come. I could not recommend them more highly. Photo Credits: @JennyDeePhotography
