This is an update of my experience: When I called to confirm my bridesmaid dress style and measurements nobody answered so I left a voice mail. A few days went by and nobody called me back. The bride let me know that they were still waiting for me and that we had been playing phone tag. However I never got a phone call or a voicemail. Then a couple days after I had gotten in touch with them, the maid of honor let me know they needed my measurements...again. I called a let them and spoke to Mike. I gave them my measurements again and when we got to my height Mike said, " that makes sense because it matches your squeaky high voice". I found this very rude and unnecessary. I feel like when you are working in the wedding industry part of your job is to make the bride and her bridesmaids feel good about themselves. I felt very upset and am now dissatisfied with my service here. read more

While I was home and newly engaged I decided to go to different stores and try on wedding dresses. Little did I know I would find the one of my dreams! I had an appointment early in the morning with the wonderful Lizzie. She asked a lot of questions about what I liked and what I didn't like, where the wedding was, what time of year, outside or inside, etc. She was extremely detailed and went right on to grabbing dresses! Funnily enough, The first one I tried on was the one I fell in love with at the end of the appointment. I tried on a total of about 10-15 dresses and the first one was a hit through all of them! She took down all the names of items I was wearing (veil, headpiece, & dress) and saved them in the system for me and also wrote them down on a piece of paper for me too. After the appointment we had a horrible experience at david's bridal (please just don't waste your time there) and then immediately came back to try on the dress again quickly and buy it! Lizzie then not only helped me buy it, but also helped me find bridesmaids dresses even after my appointment time! She really made this experience for me an absolute dream. All questions were thoroughly answered and we were given dates, warnings, contact informations, etc with buying the dress. I could not have asked for a better place to find my dream dress! read more

For anything bridal related, or even if you are looking for a great formal piece, Ella Park is a MUST to visit. My review cannot even come close to the gratitude I have for this business. I flew in from out of town with a botched dress and a wedding to attend (as the bride) in two days. After filing for our license, I popped in off of a random Google location search. I was greeted with smiles and calm demeanor that was much needed. The quality of dresses were as such that I expected all would be out of my price range. I was very wrong. All were priced so very reasonably and yet felt I was holding $5,000 dresses in my hands. For the team... Tori and Joyce, you are my angels. You both managed to find a dress that clearly was made for me and alter it beautifully as if it were all meant to be. I will forever be thankful. For the owner, Elizabeth... you have built such an amazing business and hired the most amazing team. I felt your presence even though you were behind the scenes. I'm going to give them a ONE star just due to the time and effort I put into getting measured for this dress alone. I live in Indy and drove all the way to Newburgh to get fitted for the dress. The dress was in store and where my bride found it. I wanted it to be fail-proof, hence taking the time to drive down from Indy to Newburgh. The 2 dresses they had me try on in lieu of the dress my bride picked #22732....were all empire waist dresses. The chosen dress is not empire waist, but A-line. The size 14 is the Maroon Dress, The size 16 is the Taupe. I went with the 14 as you can see how it had a snugger fit. I got measured for the dress, paid for my dress and went on about my way. I got the dress last week and the dress is HUGE, like a whole size too big. Instead of a 14- I definitely needed a 12. Praying I find a seamstress that can fix this BIG error. From what I hear, all the other dress are way too big for the other bridesmaids as well. I was definitely expecting more precision. read more

I came to Ella Park with about 8 or 9 friends and family members to try on gowns. They accommodated our large group and were very, very nice. I was amazed by their dress selections and the uniqueness of them as well. I hadn't seen most of these dresses anywhere before. I ended up picking out a dress that was a brand new style, unbeknownst to me, and it had only been on the racks for a week! Pretty cool to think I was one of the first brides to don the beautiful dress. I have nothing but praise for everyone we dealt with at Ella Park. When it came time for getting the dress fitted to me, the seamstress was AMAZING. She had extra tips and tricks for me that helped make my wedding day easier. On top of that, I had a 65 year old lace mantilla style veil that both my grandmother and mother wore on their wedding days, so it is very sentimental to our family. It was extremely frail and needed to be altered since the headpiece on it was old and wouldn't fit my hair right. The girls handled the veil so well and fixed it up for us. They went above and beyond our expectations! I would recommend this store to anyone looking for a wedding gown. Be prepared, the prices for dresses are higher than what you'd pay at a store like David's Bridal or USA Bridal, but you get what you pay for! They are very well made gowns! read more

I had the best experience here. Great communication about my appointment and attention from Melanie. I loved the individual boutique room they had me try dresses on in and their selection was great! My only complaint was that they would only write down the designer name of the dresses I liked not the style number. However, I would highly recommend trying on dresses here! read more

Not very accurate at measuring suits. Entire wedding party had issues with measurements. My pants were loose and the tightening clamps on both sides broke before the ceremony. Hopefully this review will help them pay more attention to detail. Update: manager called after reading my review to apologize and let me know they contacted the manufacturer to try and fix the issues. I've been researching bridesmaid dresses for a couple of months now. All of my BMs live in different parts of the country. All six of them are in different cities which can be quite challenging trying to get everyone's measurements together by a certain time. I found a dress that I really liked and was available at my local bridal boutique but due to customer service or shall I say a lack of, I was hesitant in purchasing from them. So I went online to look around for other places. I found Ella Park Bridal and they seem to have lots of dresses at very affordable prices. I was at first a bit skeptical because of the prices (am I going to get the exact dress I see online?). I used their online help service and the person was very friendly and answered ALL of my questions. I purchased the gowns a few weeks ago at $40 cheaper than what is retailed out there plus free shipping!! You simply CANNOT beat that!! I found their reps to be extremely accommodating and helpful and I can't wait to see the dresses when they get shipped in this April! I sincerely dislike leaving negative feedback... makes me feel rotten and I can count on one hand the number of times I've ever gone out of my way to do it. But in this case, given the high level of service that is to be expected when purchasing expensive dresses for an event such as a wedding, I feel compelled to let you know that you should should carefully consider both your pocketbook and your patience for gross misjudgment on sizing before doing business with this store. Not only was my niece improperly measured for her wedding dress resulting in a dress that did not fit her and could not be altered, but the store told her that she could not exchange the dress for a different size, per the store policy. My niece didn't change her mind on the dress design, the one they ordered simply didn't fit and couldn't be altered without putting an awful looking panel in the back. Now, keep in mind, the staff at Ella Park measured her and chose the size dress to order on her behalf. She neither gained nor lost an ounce of weight from the time they measured to the first fitting after the dresses arrival. There should have been absolutely no guess work involved since "professionals" were at work. After a very long discussion regarding the fact that we had NO feedback in the size dress that they ordered for her and therefore could not possibly be held responsible for the error, they relented. They ordered the same wedding dress for my niece, two sizes smaller. That's how "off" their measurements were. Then, the professionals at Ella Park measured my niece's 10 year old junior bridesmaid for a dress that would match the other bridesmaids dresses. When they learned that the bridesmaid dress chosen didn't come in a "junior size" per se (think little girls size 10), the bridal consultants used their "professional opinion" to determine that a womens "size zero" would be close enough and could be altered to fit the little girl. This particular junior bridesmaid, again, is 10 years old, weighs 63 lbs and is 56 inches tall. We were skeptical of the assertion by our bridal consultant that a size zero could possibly be altered to fit tiny junior bridesmaid, but again, thinking we were dealing with bridal consultants who do this every day, we deferred to her "professional" opinion. When junior bridesmaid dress came in, guess what? Dress was entirely too large with a great deal of stiff boning in the chest that is clearly designed to hold either real breasts and/or prosthetic breast pads (sewn in). It seems to me the professionals at Ella Park failed to recognize that the design of the dress at the chest might prove to be problematic with a child who is, well, utterly breast-less at 60 lbs. At the risk of sounding sarcastic, who would put even tiny sewn-in breasts to fill out a child's dress meant for a woman? Not us. And most likely no one at Ella Park. The point is, they failed to recognize it as an issue prior to telling us that they could "make the dress work." When we brought this unfortunate situation to their attention, we were told that there would be no refund or exchange on this dress. No discussion. And this time they meant it. They did not have an explanation as to how they could have guessed so incorrectly regarding size (yet again) and understanding of childhood anatomy and pointed us to their "policy" regarding refunds/exchanges. Again, the size they chose was based on their measurements and experience, not ours. Terribly disappointing and a ridiculous situation that could have been easily remedied by allowing us to return the dress and choose another dress that had a chance at fitting the young girl. Instead they suggested we sell it on Ebay and start from scratch. Allow me to clarify that no one lost or gained any weight during the time between measurements and dress arrival. These errors were Ella Park's alone and their willingness to work with us on their mistakes with my nieces $1500 wedding dress could be described as reluctant at best. In the case of junior bridesmaid's dress, they weren't even willing to discuss it. These two issues would be no brainers at a more customer service oriented bridal store. Be very, very careful when these "bridal consultants" measure you for anything.... and pay close attention to their policies. Their policies are designed to protect them, not you. Hopefully they will read negative feedback such as this and reconsider their approach to customer service in the future. read more

I had the most wonderful experience here and would recommend it to anyone! I got my wedding dress, alterations, and bridesmaids dresses here. This was the best experience of any bridal salon I had visited. The biggest plus for me was that they carried a good selection of plus size dresses in store!! I had a horrible experience at David's Bridal, then ran into three other stores who said some version of "we usually have our bigger brides hold the dresses up in front of them", and I was not going to buy a thousand-dollar dress I had never tried on! I was able to try on my PERFECT dress at Ella Park thanks to the helpful salespeople. It was a good price too. I even had an unfortunate bridesmaid related issue at one point and had to get a refund on a dress, which they gave me. (They were a little reluctant but still did it which was great. A lot of stores don't give refunds.) Alterations were a little pricier than I would have liked but the alterations lady did a great job and made some helpful suggestions. The lady who helped my friends find their bridesmaids dresses was great as well. Highly recommend Ella Park! read more

I went back three times for minor adjustments on my bridesmaid dress and yet there was still no improvement. In fact, I highly doubt they made any change to the dress between the second and third fittings, yet there was no other alternative but to accept the dress because the wedding was in several days. The staff allowed their sniping, catty statements to be heard by clientele. I would not return. read more

They are completely rude to anyone who is not a size 2. I am a bride who chose Ella Park because of their selection. Had I known they were going to be so rude to my bridesmaids, I would never had gone there. After one of my bridesmaids changed the order of her size, the employee said, "Well I guess someone is going on a massive diet!" In no way is this EVER acceptable. I have told future brides to NEVER go there. Hopefully they actually get decent employees soon. read more

The Only positive I can say about Ella Park(EP) was that I found "The Dress" here for my wedding. Finding it was easy, actually getting my dress was NOT. After waiting 5 months for my dress to come in after I'd ordered it, it was Not the dress I had placed an order for. A Nightmare for any bride-to-be. After much debating EP offered the sample dress of what I'd placed an order for to us at a slightly discounted price. It would need altered and I wouldn't be getting a new dress like I had originally wanted. The worst part of the ordeal was having alterations done in-store. I would Highly recommend Not using EP for alterations and going elsewhere. Not because the alterations were done wrong, but because when dealing with such an important part of a wedding you want nice, considerate, and honest people to work with. Myself, and my wedding party who accompanied on my visits felt this was lacking in their service. But to give them credit, they do have nice dresses. read more

Though this place has some fabulous dresses at fair prices the staff is simply not worth the hassle. When ordering a bridesmaid dress for one of my brother's weddings 3 of the 4 maids paid for theirs fairly quickly. But one of the maids was having financial difficulties and we weren't sure if she would be able to purchase the pricey gown our bride had picked. We were told that they would NOT order the dresses until the last maid paid but we were also told that if the last maid couldn't pay for her dress that we would NOT receive our money for the dresses that were never ordered. Thankfully the last maid paid for her dress and it seemed all was well. When my dress finally arrived I was told they would not have enough time to alter my dress even though they were altering other maids dresses. AND the zipper was broken and they refused to fix it. I was furious and took my business elsewhere. The dress was beautiful but i could have and should have gone ANYWHERE ELSE for this dress. Now I am engaged and I promise to never step foot in this place again. Simply not worth the hassle. Good riddance read more
