This is for the one in David Jones. The experience really depends on the beautician. I had had two great beauticians here and because of that I'm a repeat customer. But I also had experienced below average treatments with different beauticians. On one occasion, I was given a new beautician who did not follow standard routine. For instance, instead of using sponge to clean the face, she used a face cloth that felt so rough on the skin. She also did not perform an initial skin check. You can guess the results, the skin did not look like it just had a facial. Worst of all, she prevented me from buying products that I knew were good for my skin and instead almost coerced me to buy the wrong products. Results? My skin was miserable looking for 2 months! The initial reception was also poor. I was there waiting for 10 minutes and she was there at the counter busy chatting with a colleague. I had to go there and reminded them that I was waiting. This is the worst experience I had here. Naturally, for my next appointments, I made sure I never had her as the beautician again. read more
