Karim did her hair, and gave her exactly the short, sassy look she wanted. She was thrilled! Lena did my color and cut, and was fabulous. She used two different colors in her foils and the end result was perfect! I loved the shorter trim of my existing style, and could not have been happier with the results. It's always a gamble trying a new hair salon, and in a foreign country. Don't be scared, this is a GREAT salon that I would definitely support if it was in my city in the US. To me, it seems like it would be the prototypical cut they teach in any school ( i know i don't have much style, but whatever.) The stylist at BDB was friendly and seemed to fully understand exactly how I wanted my haircut. Except they didn't follow any structure, didn't take any time to see that the work was uniform or even and more or less didn't care. What should have been a very routine men's cut turned out to be completely uneven in many areas and lopsided overall. In what i though would be a value ( $30) is now going to turn into a pricy cut overall because I now have to go to another salon to fix the errors. I guess i'll just walk around self-conscious for the time being. +1 star for general friendliness (although it doesn't matter much when the cut was worse than worthless.) For $35 any length and GHD curls for free you really can't go wrong (especially when you have "extra" long, thick hair like me). I have never had a bad experience with any of the stylists and I can recommend them if you're looking for anything from a basic natural looking blow dry to a glam Saturday night style. You always walk out feeling like a million bucks. The other thing is that they are nice and quick, I like being able to know I will be in and out within an hour (often closer to 40 mins). I have also had my hair cut and coloured (full head of blonde foils and toner) here and was very happy with the results. If you're looking for a great value blow dry I don't think there's any better in Sydney. The blow dries I've had here are leagues ahead of ones I've had from some other mid range and expensive salons like Brad Ngata (and a load cheaper too!). Do bear in mind though that it's not the sort of place that serves champagne or complimentary coffees, but if you want a head turning blow dry without the hit to your wallet, this is the right place for you.

I regret said yes for that... also at the end of my hairs wasn't been cut nicely it looks really messy. My hair tail looks worst... Like a cheap broom...Really sad...this is my worst part for being as wedding guest... (My mum.. she was mad about this..) The price was higher than what they told me when I book through the phone. I kept remind them my hair length which longer than my shoulder, they said it'd be around $60 or something then today I paid $77. I'm afraid the hair cut wasn't good so it was too pricy for me. Personally, I really disappointed their quality been lowered than before. After today I rather go to another place. The only good reason for this salon is located in Town Hall (city) which save your time if you have any occasional plan in the city.

I have ethnic hair and 24 inch extensions, and she washed my hair gently enough so my extensions didn't tangle. I had the option to upgrade to the high end Keratase shampoo for only $5. No other salon has given me that option. I like that they use only top quality products like GHD hair straighteners. Anne used the GHD to make beautiful waves in my hair... The waves are still present 3 days later... This is my 2nd visit, I'll definitely be a loyal customer! I love this salon....
