Cute little post office with a stone facade right off Route 33. Love this small town of Elkton, nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains with about 2500+ people. Dedicated by Eisenhower in 1959, this post office is somewhat historic; it has an interesting plaque, brass mailboxes, a greeting card stand, and a local bulletin board with news and events. Clean and well maintained with handicap ramp. The first post office here was originally at Conrad's general store in 1812, and George Conrad was its first postmaster. (Named for American revolutionary captain Stephen Conrad.)
