If you are looking for a top of the line venue, look no further. Ignacio the owner was pleasant to…read morework with, always answered our questions and accommodated requested we made. His employees are also all very professional, efficient and accommodating. This is quite the well oiled machine. The venue itself has such great bones that you can decorate it minimally and it would still be magical. My niece had her Quince here and it was everything plus more. From what I understand also affordable for all the amenities provided them. Catering is in-house and served buffet style. Chicken was moist and flavorful. Veggies were fresh and made al dente. Bar was on point. Cake was cut and distributed by the employees. They also did the clean up. We were allowed into the venue for a few hours the day before. When we entered the tables and chairs were set up as well as linens and plates. We just needed to come in and place all the centerpieces, decorate the front entrance and set up the dessert bar. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. DJ set up is above the party which was a nice because it didn't impede on the party guests, etc. There was enough room in one corner for the photobooth. With 120 guest and 12 round tables you were still able to maneuver between the tables with ease. There are hotels within close proximity for out of town guests that were affordable. We reserved a couple of rooms at the Holiday Inn Express nearby that also offered breakfast which was nice.

Ignacio was incredibly attentive through the process of our event (Quinceañera). Everything turned…read moreout perfect! The food was amazing, the service incredible and the atmosphere perfection. From the door greeter to the servers to the chef and bar tender.... 100% satisfied. Thank you The Vault for making our event memorable. We will upload photos once we receive them from our photographer.

Dunne Park - Rose Garden (when tended)

I don't live in Hollister, but we were diving by and quickly yelped for a nearby park for my…read moretoddler to stretch her legs. At first sight it was nice but once you walked closer you could see how dirty and wore down everything is. Also we saw about 5 homeless roaming around and a drug deal go down. Good thing I won't ever come back. On the plus side my toddler enjoyed herself and it tired her out.

The reason why I've spent so much time at this particular park is a matter of convenience rather…read morethan preference...it's just a five minute walk away from the high school, the library, and, when she lived near there, my cousin's house. But it's only an okay park. It can be nice to relax at on fine days...but you frequently have to put up with the aroma of dog poop (make sure you check before you sit). There is at least a wide expanse of grass, with a few large trees for shade, although they're not really in the parts of the park you want to sit at. If you feel like doing the picnic/barbeque thing, there's a patio for that, as well...but it's fairly rundown and the grills are more than a little rusty. The play structure there is pretty generic. I like the swings...they've got that old, classic thing going on, with authentic squeaks and everything. It has bathrooms. I've never used them, because I assume they're kind of gross. Could be great, though. I don't really know. There's also a "Club House," but I don't really know what it's for. Events, I guess? The second best part of Dunne Park CAN be the small rose garden. I say "can" because the garden only seems to be tended (sort of) half of the time. There are plenty of crawly critters in there, so be careful if you feel like picking one of the few perfect roses you find. THE best part of this place is that the fault line runs through it down the gray dirt path. You can actually see it. It's pretty cool. As a bonus, the ice cream man rides by on his bike pretty frequently. Watch for him on a hot day.
