His employees are also all very professional, efficient and accommodating. This is quite the well oiled machine. The venue itself has such great bones that you can decorate it minimally and it would still be magical. My niece had her Quince here and it was everything plus more. From what I understand also affordable for all the amenities provided them. Catering is in-house and served buffet style. Chicken was moist and flavorful. Veggies were fresh and made al dente. Bar was on point. Cake was cut and distributed by the employees. They also did the clean up. We were allowed into the venue for a few hours the day before. When we entered the tables and chairs were set up as well as linens and plates. We just needed to come in and place all the centerpieces, decorate the front entrance and set up the dessert bar. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. DJ set up is above the party which was a nice because it didn't impede on the party guests, etc. There was enough room in one corner for the photobooth. With 120 guest and 12 round tables you were still able to maneuver between the tables with ease. There are hotels within close proximity for out of town guests that were affordable. We reserved a couple of rooms at the Holiday Inn Express nearby that also offered breakfast which was nice.

Unfortunately, I do not have his/her name but I strongly recommend that they not be hired again. Their music selections were extremely limited. They claim to take requests but never played them. Based on their choice of music, there were only 2 to 3 couples that actually danced (except for the dozen dancers during the Electric Slide). We requested a song but when we did not hear it after an hour plus, we left, as did many others. We have been to this hall many times and have enjoyed the food and the music, but this time, only the food. I don't recommend this DJ at all. Maybe next year the hall will hire a better DJ who knows how to cater to a dancing crowd.

You have Mr. Reynoso(the person in "charge") eating your food and talking to your guests. Telling you false "rules" of the hall and basically have him all over your party for no apparent reason. Let me tell you this hall can cost a pretty penny to rent and Mr. Reynoso was trying to have us clean areas of the hall that were not even noted on the contract. Just added stress to my list that I did not need.

Normally I would have to go out of the area to please his artistic side but thankfully our little town has something for all ages to satisfy their needs to be creative. Upon walking in you are adorned with many locals art pieces I.e. hand crafted gems that you can't get at target or tj maxx (I'm 100% in favor of supporting local). While my son was doing his art work I decided to "browse" which turned into a mini shopping spree. There are so many unique things here and I love the atmosphere. The owner is kind and has many plans for the future that I'm looking forward to as many businesses don't last long. I hope this business lasts a long time because it's unique age friendly and supports local artists which is rare in an Amazon to your door world. Prices are reasonable especially for a small family owned business.

But it's only an okay park. It can be nice to relax at on fine days...but you frequently have to put up with the aroma of dog poop (make sure you check before you sit). There is at least a wide expanse of grass, with a few large trees for shade, although they're not really in the parts of the park you want to sit at. If you feel like doing the picnic/barbeque thing, there's a patio for that, as well...but it's fairly rundown and the grills are more than a little rusty. The play structure there is pretty generic. I like the swings...they've got that old, classic thing going on, with authentic squeaks and everything. It has bathrooms. I've never used them, because I assume they're kind of gross. Could be great, though. I don't really know. There's also a "Club House," but I don't really know what it's for. Events, I guess? The second best part of Dunne Park CAN be the small rose garden. I say "can" because the garden only seems to be tended (sort of) half of the time. There are plenty of crawly critters in there, so be careful if you feel like picking one of the few perfect roses you find. THE best part of this place is that the fault line runs through it down the gray dirt path. You can actually see it. It's pretty cool. As a bonus, the ice cream man rides by on his bike pretty frequently. Watch for him on a hot day.

From the moment you begin planning until the last guest leaves the dance floor, Rhett and his family are incredibly hands-on, responsive, and genuinely invested in making your event a success. It's truly a family affair, with Rhett, his wife, son, and daughter all pitching in to make everything feel seamless. One of the things that sets Wave Street Studios apart is how effortlessly the space transforms throughout the evening. Our guests enjoyed dinner, then the room transitioned beautifully into a lively dance floor without missing a beat. The lighting, technology, and overall atmosphere create a magical experience that feels both sophisticated and welcoming. Rhett also coordinated seamlessly with one of their preferred catering partners, Fire on Wheels Pizza, who not only served fantastic food but even created a custom signature mocktail just for our event. It was such a thoughtful touch that our guests loved. Hosting a nonprofit gala requires countless moving pieces, and having a venue partner who anticipates needs, solves problems before they arise, and truly cares is invaluable. Wave Street Studios does exactly that. Add in the tremendous value for everything that's included, and it's hard to imagine a better event venue on the Monterey Peninsula. What we especially love is that it doesn't feel like another generic hotel ballroom. The space has personality, warmth, and a sense of place that made our guests feel like they were part of something truly special. It created an experience--not just an event. If you're looking for a unique venue for a fundraiser, wedding, corporate event, or celebration, I can't recommend Wave Street Studios highly enough. We look forward to coming back again.
