Air conditioning, television, mini-fridge and microwave. Near to a park with walking trails, and even though it's a bit on the outskirts of town, there are several convenience stores and a couple of chain restaurants right around the motel for a cup of coffee, a soda, or a pizza delivery, if you don't feel like driving into town. The owners and employees are so kind. My overnight stretched to three nights, and then a week, as I waited for parts, and they held my room, gave me local recommendations on attractions to see while I was here, and were super nice to my dog, who is a little shy of strangers.

The facilities are beautiful and include the historic cabin where Ernest Hemingway wrote a portion of "A Farewell to Arms." That cabin clearly marked and is available for rental. The staff are wonderful and really provide personalized service. By the end of the week, they all felt like friends. The horses are awesome. Because they have so many beautiful trucks/horse trailers, the guests are able to ride in many different/varied locations. Our group of about 30 guests ranged from novice to expert level riders but all riders were given opportunities to enjoy and reach their potential for the week. The food...OMG. Rachel, their executive chef, is amazing. I think I ate every single bite of every single meal. I immediately am sad that we are not there this week and I have to cook my own meals. The grounds are immaculate and the barn looks like you could almost eat off the floor (well, almost). Tom, the head wrangler, is very skilled and he seemed to match us very well with great horses. The owners are so friendly and spent time with us all week. I really can't think of anything I didn't like about this amazing trip. We're going to start saving our money to go back!
