The room was clean and smelled lightly of clove oil. The pet fee is a modest $5. There's a coffee maker in-room. Fast (for a remote town like Lima, which is like 4 down and 2 up) wifi. Friendly service. They close at 9:30 so try to arrive beforehand, though I'm unsure what happens after that. Oh, and the water pressure is great and the showers are hot. Praise be.

They had an AC team come in and although they couldn't fix the unit while we were there, they had a portable unit installed to take care of the immediate issue. And more importantly, Manu, the manager, worked to reach an acceptable arrangement to cover our discomfort. Fo $116, one adult, one senior ticket you could ride the tram/gondolas and the ski lift all day. The tram took you up Lone Peak so far then you transfered to the gondola for the rest of the accent to 11,116 feet. It was well worth the price of the tickets. There were plenty of food options and shopping, places to sit, chill, relax and enjoy the phenomenal views from gound kevel. Free parking. Riding the open air ski lift was super fun

We always have a lot of fun staying here. Only thing is sometimes the kitchen is missing stuff or they need to update and get new kitchen items. Last time we visited, we were cooking dinner and they didn't have any measuring cups. I'll still give 5 stars because I've enjoyed staying here but I think they need to go through each cabin and check for missing items and replace them.

My friends and I booked a home through Ascend months in advance of our trip to Montana this summer…read more We traveled over a 1/2 day to get to the rental to find cars parked outside and upon entering the home a bachelorette party still living in the rental that they trashed. We called management and they then disclosed that the owners friends decided to come to the home early and they couldn't kick them out due to the home already being rented. Management then said we had to find a new rental (this was literally upon arrival without telling us ahead of time). Like hell my friends and I were going to book another property through Ascend. We scrambled and found another home like I said previously "day of" that would accommodate us for our trip. Ascend ended up paying us back the money but they should have also paid for our new rental as it was appalling that we had to scramble to find new accommodations upon arriving at their trashed rental property that we were supposed to be staying in.

The cabins were comfortable in size, extremely clean, and very well set up for a Yellowstone trip. The kitchenette was especially useful for us, and having a dishwasher was a great bonus. The location really could not be beat -- it was very close to the West Yellowstone entrance, which helped us avoid a lot of traffic and made it easy to structure our days in the park. We were able to see the upper part of Yellowstone one day, the lower part another day, and then use the rest of our time to revisit and explore the places we wanted to see more deeply. The staff were also extremely friendly and helpful, which added to the overall experience. Another nice touch was the fire pits, which they turned on around 5 p.m. each evening. It was a fun and relaxed way to meet some of the other people staying at the cabins. Overall, we were very happy with our stay. Comfortable cabins, a great location, friendly staff, and a really enjoyable atmosphere. Highly recommended.

It's walking distance to everything in town - shops, restaurants, groceries. It is across the street from the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center (great for a rainy day or a break from the part). You can't beat the location. It is very close to the Museum of Yellowstone. It's next door to a McDonald's (yes there is a McDonald's in West Yellowstone!). I considered getting a two-bedroom suite at the Hotel, with a full kitchen before I decided on the cabin. The cabin had a bit more space and some privacy. This stay was for 3 adults (myself, my husband, and our adult son). Cabin #17. We stayed for a week mid-September. The cabin was well maintained, and the one issue we had, was fixed the same day (while we were out of the cabin). The kitchen is small. The refrigerator is a mini-undercounter type, so don't over buy food that needs refrigeration. There is plenty of cabinet space for dry goods. There is a cooktop with two burners and a tea kettle. Perfect for quick breakfast! There is also a coffee make (drip type). Some pots and pans (see photos). Plates mugs and glasses. Full set of flatware with Openers. Cooking Utensils. Toaster. An ice maker, that was very nice and we used it. Small dishwasher. There is dining table/chairs. You have a sofa, chair, large coffee table and TV trays. The TV trays were older, very heavy and hard to negotiate. We decided to just stick with the coffee table. The beds were very comfortable (one King and one Queen). Both had closets. Bathroom had a very small vanity but several cabinets to store our stuff. Definitely only one at a time in the bathroom, just too small. The sofa is a sofa bed, but I can't imagine putting more bodies into this smaller space, even kids. Housekeeping stopped by most days and we just asked for what we needed. We didn't need much other than towels. Staff was very friendly and helpful along with the front desk staff when we checked in and out. There is a fire pit outside that gets lit every night (including when it's raining) with chairs surrounding the pit. The rooms are stocked with S'more Kits (more available at the front desk) and that was a nice touch. We did make S'mores one night! Definitely if you are traveling with kids they will enjoy the firepit and S'mores! The cabin was pricey especially since this was Shoulder not High season considering the size. However, there isn't many other options. We liked being a short walk into town, and believe it or not we even went to McDonald's!
