Edward is the best! Stop searching for a a tax preparer and come here!…read more I was behind on filing my taxes (yes, I know it's October!) and was having a hard time finding the "perfect" place to help me file them quickly and hassle free. Of course, I was also looking to see who would be able to help me maximize my savings and not charge me an arm and a leg for being late in the year + doing multiple years at once. I found MacTax Solutions via Yelp after submitting a project request. My request was simple, I said what l needed and asked for price estimates based on my situation as well as asked a couple of questions. Edward from MacTax Solutions was the first to respond to my request and he provided me with everything I requested plus more! He gave me an estimated quote based on what I had provided but he also asked me additional questions to make sure I was getting the help I actually needed. He also gave me the option to continue remotely or in person! Once we got the details settled, Edward confirmed again the pricing and I was all set to continue. I decided to do the remote option and it truly made my whole experience a great one. I was able to submit all my required paperwork through their secure app where I also had access to seeing the forms he was completing for me. He was very communicative with me throughout the whole process and even walked me through all the paperwork over the phone before payment was even requested. The reason I chose them was due to all the other businesses not offering me any estimated pricing or even acknowledging my requests. All other places (and I'm not exaggerating) sent me basic and generic messages asking me to either call them to schedule an appointment or to let them know what day/time I could go into their office. Look no further and give them a try! I definitely found my place moving forward and will recommend them to my friends and family.

Because of our neglect and inattention to accounting in the company while it was very small and just developing - when our sales grew significantly, we found ourselves completely unprepared in terms of tax optimization, identifying and mitigating risks due to my negligence and lack of knowledge in accounting. Fernando helped us identify complexities, set up the system, choose the best form for the business, formalize the transition, set up payroll properly, collect the right forms from contractors, file information that we should have filed but didn't know about. He was not only professional and attentive to our needs - he was also extremely friendly and gave us in passing a lot of education in tax matters for free. We recommend him to all of our friends and acquaintances now - he is an amazing professional and wonderful person. He also has a great team - always attentive, do not forget anything, work proactively to prevent risks.
