Shared a cheesesteak sandwich and it was delicious. Steak seasoned right, tasty cheese, bread fresh. Prices good too. I love spots like these. Just good food and great service. read more

Elizabeth's Pizza - Cheesesteak and fries - Pizza Near Me - Martinsville, Virginia

Ordered two slices of pepperoni for takeout from this establishment that has been in the community for a very long time. The pizza was hot and fresh. Great customer service, nice sized parking lot that is shared with other businesses in the area. The Philly cheesesteaks from here are also a must try. read more

The sandwiches, pizza and other food items are always good here, most are offered with fries that are always hot. The service is good and they always remember you. I haven't ordered anything that wasn't good. Since the last time I came it looks like they spruced the place up a little bit. This is a good thing for the area. read more

Let me say the night I came (Friday), this place was busy. They did have a bunch of staff and we're turning the food out quickly. I ordered Stromboli, pizza and a cheesesteak sandwich. The Stromboli wasn't rolled and was more like a long calzone. It also had a 75/25 ratio of cheese to topping that left me a bit disappointed. The cheese also seemed to lack flavor. It was more like the glue holding things together. My pizza was alright. The crust is thin (they have other options) and kind of floppy lacking any structure. I will say...the pizza reheated well and actually seemed to taste better the next day. I'm the last person to judge a cheesesteak (being from Colorado), but I actually probably liked this the best. I could do without the soggy lettuce, but it was very full, tender and cheesy. I surprisingly didn't pay much for all this food - about $35. I took pictures of everything because the reviews seemed to lack them. read more

Well, the pizza is tasty, I would say that the stand out dish should I've had here is the eggplant Parmesan sub. A staple of Collinsville and Henry county for a reason read more

Love, love, love the Stromboli!!! No matter how many times I get, they never fail! Full of my favorite choice of chicken and pepperoni.

Being from Baltimore this is the closest thing to my hometown's cheesesteak I could find living here and yes I've tried all the other places. read more

9$ for these putrid wings, first time eating here and what a let down. JUST AS NASTY AS JERRYS PIZZAS WINGS! I got 2 orders and got 3 bites of chicken once i got past the fat and greasy breading....then broken bone shards were nice, too. I'd be ashamed to serve these! read more

Philly cheesesteak is pretty good! We've gone a few times and that's what I've gotten each time.

It's not the best, not the worst....just kind of small town, middle of the road pizza joint. Suffice it to say we eat there often due to lack of options. The restaurant is clean and spacious. The staff are very friendly. The prices are reasonable. It's worth trying. read more

This food here is decent. The prices aren't too bad but the service could use work. It's not bad service but it's nothing warm and friendly about it lol. Some people may not mind it. If you don't then you're good! read more

Worst overcooked pasta and red sauce ever. Dumped my entire meal in the trash after the first bite and left.

Place is not in great shape. Just hope it's clean. Took a very long time to get the good. Although the food was good it was nothing special but I will give it another try at some point. read more

Best pizza, stromboli, and cheese steak in town. Grilled chicken salads are large, fresh, reasonably priced...in a word, terrific!

Place is great! The cheesesteak was really good and the pizza was as well. Reasonably priced and polite staff.

We're new to the area and have tried a few restaurants. Most have been disappointing, but Elizabeth's is my new go-to place. The chicken parmesan is delicious, especially if you ask for less sauce and extra cheese, which they're happy to provide. It comes with Alfredo noodles, a side salad and garlic bread. Reasonably priced, clean and yummy! read more

The front of the restaurant or the decor inside may not be fancy but the pizzas , Stromboli and pasta are really good . Serving size is quite generous. The service is quite both for sit in and take out. No tAble service . Place order at counter , pay and look for a booth or table to sit . read more

Best Philly cheesesteak around. I'd suggest calling ahead and plenty of time as they're always backed up.

As someone who grew up in Pennsylvania living off of cheese steaks, I can honestly say that Elizabeth's gets it as close to perfect as anywhere I have been! As another reviewer has said, the pizza is pretty good (especially the sauce) but it's been awhile since I've eaten it, because I always make sure I have plenty of room for a 12" overflowing with steak & provolone! Occasionally I will go with the deliciously over stuffed calzone or steak stromboli. The kids can't seem to get enough of their large slices though! They also have Spaghetti, Salads, Manicotti, Lasagna, Eggplant Parmigiana, everything being homemade and fresh! Cozy intimate dining, whether it's a family night out or just you and your date. read more

Best pizza in Martinsville but that's not really saying much. New York style. Calzones are fair.. a bit skimpy but ok.

My go to comfort food. They give you so much in one portion and I think prices are super reasonable. Food can tend to be pretty greasy, but I just overlook that because it's SO good! This one is better than the one in Collinsville and I haven't been to the one in Patrick County so I'm not sure about that one. All I know is, you ask anyone from this side of Henry county what they're having for dinner and a lot of times you'll hear "Elizabeth's". Lol read more

Great sandwiches - our group had meatball, grilled chicken and also a Stromboli - all great! Bread is amazing! Friendly service and reasonably priced as well. read more

Last night I called in my order to not have to wait. When I got into the establishment and finally waited on I learned that my order wasn't prepared. I was questioned if I ordered from that location and was I sure I ordered from there. Only to find out that my order ticket had been dropped and the order wasn't created. After the server laughed at my finding my ticket on the floor he proceeds to tell me that I can wait and they would prepare my order as soon as possible. No thanks was my response. What's the point in calling in your order if it's lost by the establishment with 15 minutes. As well as questioning my intelligence with calling the correct location. I was super duper pissed with my experience last night. Totally disappointed in the customer service and lack of concern. They wanted to shift the blame to the customer. Without customers they cannot remain in business. read more

Went to see family in Martinsville, VA. My husband grew up on Elizabeth's, so we both got a cheesesteak, it was so worth it! We loved it, a little greasy but not overwhelmingly so, it was delicious. The speed of service was very fast as well! The fries could have used some salt, but that's not too big a deal since we had ketchup. It's definitely worth stopping by and trying it out! read more

Called in my to go order from home & told it would be ready in 15 minutes. When I get there 20 minutes later told that wings are not ready yet. Finally after waiting at restaurant another 30 minutes I get my pizza and one order of wings. I have been a regular customer at this place, but no more - when I complained all I got was a half-hearted "I'm sorry." read more

Pizza was ok, kind of greasy and not many toppings, the cheesesteak sub was terrible, the steak meat was dry and no taste and tough and chewy. i would probably stop in for the pizza but never again for the steak sub. read more
