I found this spa via a Groupon to try it out as a possible new place for massages and related spa…read moreservices. Note: This business is housed in the same space as Karina's Beauty Spa in Suite #502. Upon check-in, the Grinch-green hair dyed receptionist (wearing a Karina's Beauty Spa badge) was on her cell phone. When I walked up to check in, she couldn't be bothered to put her phone down. She dryly asked if I was there for Comfort Spas. When I replied in the affirmative, she said someone would be with me shortly. The receptionist immediately went back to her phone. However, when a guest arrived for Karina's Beauty Spa, the receptionist immediately put her phone down and perked right up. Clearly, she has no interest in guests of Comfort Spas. Per the website, I arrived 15 minutes early. I sat in the waiting area the entire 15 minutes before the Comfort Spas masseuse greeted me, on her way in from a quick run to CVS. Just before getting started, the masseuse (named Jasmine) asked if I had any pain or other problem areas. While this question may seem like a good one to ask objectively, it let me know that Jasmine had clearly failed to review the required form that I spent 20 minutes completing via her online portal. Seriously , if you have a form as a requirement, then it should be the foundation for discussion with a new client... I purchased a 90-minute hot stone/deep tissue massage. Jasmine was a pleasant person, with generally good technique but she lacked the finesse and strength of more seasoned people who do massages. The room was relatively small and cold. Plus, unlike all past experiences I've had, Jasmine did not use heated oils/lotions. Instead, she used VERY COLD lotion which was anything but relaxing. Quite jarring with each touch. Additionally, she used disposable gloves, so the lotion never had a chance to be warmed in her hands. When Jasmine asked about the pressure, I let her know that I'd like it stronger. Yet, she was not able to sustain anything more than a very light massage. The hot stone portion (used exclusively at the neck and back area) was just ok. Stone use was really just an "honorable mention" since they were used less than 5 minutes out of the 90 minute massage. In my past experiences, the stones have been aligned along the spine and allowed to heat any trouble area(s). The Waiting area décor was aesthetically pleasing, and scented with a candle. The music and colors are calming and help to usher in relaxation. However, the loud ticking clock is not conducive to relaxation. Overall, if you're a person accustomed to stronger massages, you may want to look elsewhere. However, if you like a very light touch then this may be for you.

She should have fixed it prior to taking appointments. The scrub was just a glove that exfoliated and not a real scrub. It is extremely hard to make an appointment. You can't physically call or ask questions. The massage was ok once i was on my back and didn't need the head rest. I Don't recommend this place. They need to get more professional. The room was cold. The little heater helped some but not the type of massage in use to. Wasn't offered even a sip of water or tea like normal places after the massage.

Clearly I need to go ahead and book my next session.

In terms of scheduling, yes, she is busy, and for good reason. Everybody wants to book her! The best way to schedule an appointment is through her squareup booking site. There you can see what dates are available months in advance and select those dates. I definitely recommend Monica. She gives the best massages works out all the crazy knots I have. She found knots in my spine and ribcage that I had no clue existed. She gave me the perfect amount of pressure - not so much that I was writhing, but enough that you could almost feel the frozen tissues starting to breathe again. It feels like there's blood flow in my shoulders for the first time in months. I almost felt obligated to give HER a hand massage when she was done - she did so much work in an hour! My in-laws purchased a Groupon from here for me for Christmas. The website is confusing and…read moreprovided limited information. It took the woman over three days just to return my phone call. She left a message requested that I text message her. ..so that's what I did. She informed me that due to the popularity of the Groupon and that she was the only massage therapist that it would be almost two months to schedule a massage (during the week). TWO months! When I informed her that waiting two months was an unreasonable amount of time to wait for a massage she told me that "some people do" wait that long and that it was "my call". #1. If you are unable to handle your workload then maybe you shouldn't be offering Groupons to get more business.... they are kinda popular #2 . It would be wise to hire someone to deal with the business part (such as schedule and returning phone calls) and just stick to the massage part. The whole one woman show ain't cutting it. FYI I was so upset about this that I actually created a yelp account just to write this review. Hopefully my in-laws can get a refund....Don't waste your time or money...go to a spa instead.

It seems like the only customers they have are from GroupOn and LivingSocial coupons which makes total sense because they are just looking for one time only customers because I cannot see them having any repeat customers after the experience I had. Lily is completely unprofessional and argumentative. She kept insisting that the LivingSocial coupon was for only a swedish massage and the coupon does not specify, it just says one hour massage, it does not specify the kind of massage. Just like other Yelpers, she tried to upsell for an additional $10 for a deep tissue massage and kept insisting that I get it. Then I asked her to show me where it says in writing that it specifies for only a swedish and she couldn't answer so she called the manager and with her broken English started yelling at me. You don't treat customers like that! I will never return and I will make sure that everyone stays away from this place!!!!!
