He did come back to fix it once because there were all kinds of bubbles and particles under it after the first installation, which I will applaud, but he doesn't really stand by his work. After two applications its still peeling and that's terrible. His lack of quality and deceptive lifetime warranty mean steer clear. Get it done somewhere professionally with actual customer service. After each application, I waited 8-10 days to roll down the windows to be safe as is protocol and this still happens after only a few months of installation. Didn't even last a year. Charleston weather is relentless: salt air corrodes, humidity bakes grime into paint, pollen stains clear coats, and sudden rain showers undo a wash in minutes. Moonshine’s services—ceramic coatings, paint correction, deep interior restoration—aren’t luxuries here; they’re protection against the elements. Unlike quick washes, Moonshine treats every vehicle like a restoration. Sand is pulled from carpets, oxidation cut from headlights, paint sealed to withstand the coast. The result isn’t just clean—it stays clean longer, saving clients time and worry. Convenience also sets Moonshine apart. The fully equipped Ford Transit Connect brings the entire shop to driveways, docks, and downtown streets. In a city of tight porches and historic lanes, mobility matters, and Moonshine makes professional detailing accessible wherever clients are. But the real difference is in values. Charleston thrives on connection, and Moonshine mirrors that spirit—building long-term relationships through maintenance programs, giving back with charitable details, and partnering with other local businesses. A Moonshine detail isn’t just a wash. It’s confidence when salt air lingers, pride when cruising down King Street, and comfort when loading up for Folly Beach. In the Lowcountry, protecting your car means preserving a way of life—and Moonshine is built for exactly that.
