Dr. Char is absolutely amazing! I've been to many doctors, I've yet to meet one as attentive. Dr…read more Char explained a lot of stuff thoroughly. I understood everything she explained to me, she made sure of that. I easily picked up on education and patients first is a priority for Dr. Char. I didn't feel rushed, I didn't feel like a number. I felt like i and my concerns mattered! I enjoyed (when have you ever enjoyed a doctors visit) this visit. Growing up my mom was afraid of doctors it seemed more regular to live and not know what's going on vs knowing and finding a solution. With more doctors like Dr. Char that fear and narrative will change! In return we will have healthy happy people. Regardless of any findings I'm confident Dr. Char will help me navigate it with care. I'm beyond thankful she and I crossed paths, there isn't a monetary value you can put on PEACE of mind. The peace of knowing I'm in good hands means the world to me. Thank you Dr. Char and the Holistically Well family.

She was able to target and identify the root cause of my thyroid dysfunction that 6 different endocrinologists have waived off over the last 10 years as being "normal". You don't get rushed out in 15 minutes and charged hundreds of dollars to leave with more questions & unknowns. Dr Dean spends 30-60 minutes during our appointments going over each piece of my labs and markers to make sure I understand how my body functions and how I can improve the deficiencies and optimize my healthy function. This provider LISTENS & responds to my concerns with respect maintaining dignity for the patient. Dr Dean excels in patient education, confronts your lifestyle choices gently sp you understand your options and the consequences of those options. She has helped make me more disciplined in taking the supplements & food choices that help fight off global inflammation flareups. She was able to help determine that my daughter needed an allergy panel after 3 different gaseronterologists couldn't accurately diagnose her digestive issues & 2 insisted she have her gall bladder removed. She had it removed and she declined in health. After Dr Dean spent time with her & ordered an allergy panel, it turned out she was highly allergic to several dietary staples. We could have saved her years of suffering by simply having an attentive provider. The amount of money I have spent total for the primary care costs, labs, perscriptions & exams have come out to a fraction of what I have spent going to specialists for years who barely scratched the surface & told me I was just stressed out. Dr Dean is the absolute truth in women's health. She will look at the whole person and ask you real questions, taking a real interest in your health and thriving.

I had a check up appointment on January 6th and today I call to refill my Dexcoms, pharmacist tells me my prescription has expired. Easy fix right? Give doc a call. Right. I was told on the phone it might or might not get done today no promises, but they would be sure to make it a high priority. When that should have been taken care of back in JANUARY. Not to mention the PA who saw me that day was GOOGLING answers to my questions. AI who? So a little sensor that keeps me alive in the middle of the night might or might not be refilled. I go to the office in person today, and ironically they renew the prescription immediately Diabetes doesn't have an On and Off switch, I can't just turn it off when my Doctor decides to fail me and not do her job. As a doctor it is her duty to keep up with these things.

In his trying to get a viable biopsy sample he dug around in my neck 4 different times. It was brutal. A week later, and I am still extremely bruised. It took three calls to get my results on the biopsy. I told the nurse and the office manager about the bruising on my neck. They didn't show any concern. I do not recommend this physician or his office.

Wasemiller Wayne L MD - Very cold clinical room

He literally spent half the time complaining that I didn't have a list of preventative meds (which my other neurologist already sent him) aside the abortive meds I've tried. Badgering me for half the appointment and the other half was spent trying to talk me into "trying" medication. Sorry but I've tried over 20 meds and almost all have caused horrific side effects. My first visit with the Dr. was meh. I found his bedside manner needed some attention. He's not exactly warm. Regardless I was hopeful. The room is very clinical and I got a sense that I was going to have a huge issue with insurance because for 10min I was told so by the doctor. Not exactly something I would have expected. I left feeling hopeless and already making plans to go elsewhere. Later that day I contacted my original neurologist who stated he was being extremely demanding, wanting additional info when what was provided was sufficient. I agreed. I wasn't sure I would even go back to this place. I got approved by insurance (I never had a doubt till this doctor put doubt in my mind that day) and I had to call them to schedule. Not exactly on top of things there. I was able to be granted access to his practice for treatment prior to NOVEMBER. Seriously I had waited months already for this short and not-so-sweet consult and I was not going to wait months for treatment. When I came in for treatment, I brought my neurological treatment report from my previous neurologist because, well, IT WORKED. I waited about 30min or so for my appt and the nurse handed me a cold pack to put on my forehead. Not something I've ever needed so this was kind of putting me on the defense already. When the doctor finally came in I asked if he had received it and was told I'm a very cold tone "I do things MY way". Uh okay... what exactly is that I asked. He didn't go into details but explained himself in a very short and curt way. Basically what he opted to do was fewer injections and less of a dosage in total but more Botox into each site. I saw and read the neuro report he sent to my other doctor. It's been a week and I've had zero relief. I have had tons of migraines still and two full blown cluster headaches which have resulted in my crying like a baby in a ball, rigid and drooling on myself. My shoulders and neck are just as stiff as they were before and I've seen zero noted improvement. Now I have had Botox injections before and every single time, I had relief by now. Typically within two weeks I was symptom free. I also had received more shots and more units (100 more than this doctor gave me). So as far as this experience goes...meh. I've had better. I will gladly update this review once I have a better experience with this doctor. And I do plan to follow up after the holidays to see if I can have him do any more injections or if I am stuck waiting to see my other doctor - who btw is 100x better even with his off-putting bedside manner which some report. I would love to see how any of those same people who complain about that doctor would react to this experience.
