Dropped by on Friday afternoon and was delighted to see the shop busy. I ordered an iced masala chai and chocolate chip cookie to-go; both of which were refreshing and indulgent. Parking is a little difficult so make sure you give yourself extra time to allow for parking. I came on a Friday mid-afternoon and this place was pretty busy, with people seated in and outdoors. We were given a free chai and dessert. I opted for the hot CARDAMOM CHAI and the MANGO LASSI CHEESECAKE. I also got a PISTACHIO ROSE LOAF $6 so I could try some more of their offerings. I waited for about 10 minutes for my order. The cardamom chai was delicious. I devoured the mango lassi cheesecake. It could have used a little more sauce on the top, but it was very good. The pistachio rose loaf was aesthestically pleasing and very tasty. It was moist and not overly sweet. I will definitely come back here for their other items like burritos and pranthas. Thank you for the yummy treat!

This was such a fun event! Thank you Hayley, Lorea, Treehouse, Pasea Hotel for organizing this! We…read morestarted the night at Treehouse, a rooftop bar with beautiful ocean views and cozy firepit seating. To break the ice, we played a social bingo, which ended up being a great way to meet everyone. We were offered two drinks here: the Pink Flamingo and the HB Christmas. Both were delicious, but the HB Christmas was my favorite. Afterwards, we headed over to Lorea, which had a modern ambiance with a long communal table set up for the group. We got to try a wide selection of dishes including Parker House Rolls, Harvest Apple Salad, Assorted Sushi, Tomahawk Steak, Whole Fried Fish, Grilled Chicken Panzanella, Roasted Acorn Squash, and for dessert, Apple Alchemy and Carrot Cake. The assorted sushi was fresh and delicious, and I really liked how well the tomahawk steak was cooked, however it did need the chimichurri and sauces for flavor. The mashed potatoes that came with it were delicious as well. The fried fish was beautifully presented but a bit mild in taste. However, the mango salad on top added a nice, refreshing contrast. The harvest apple salad and grilled chicken panzanella were decent, but I found myself wishing for a bit more flavor in both. The desserts were great, not too sweet, and the Apple Alchemy was really fun to watch them assemble. Service throughout the night was friendly and attentive, and I appreciated that they offered mocktails for anyone who wanted a non-alcoholic option. At the end of the event, they announced the bingo winners (woohoo!) and I received a candle. Overall, this was a very well-planned and enjoyable evening with great food variety, beautiful venues, and a fun way to connect with other Yelpers!

What an amazing superduper elite event experience!!! Big thank you and shoutout to Hayley and her…read moreteam for making this event so enjoyable and memorable. I had a fantastic time at this elite event. It was good seeing old friends and meeting new ones. It took me a long time to draft this review because I wanted to capture how awesome it was. We first started off with the treehouse rooftop experience. We had a choice of two cocktails and I chose the pink flamingo. It was absolutely delicious. It has mezcal, lime, Thai chili infused Aperol, cortisone, watermelon and egg whites. Now my favorite is any drink that has Aperol in it so this was the winner for me. The view at this treehouse was absolutely fantastic and breathtaking. It happened to be one of those great somewhat chilly nights that had the most beautiful sunset. Next we went downstairs to Lorea to experience some good find dining and tasty eats. We first started off with some appetizers. Their Parker house rolls are absolutely delicious. You have the option of spreading European salted butter or Turkish chili lime butter. I enjoyed both types of butter very much and I am looking forward to getting these rolls again. Absolutely worth every calorie and carb count! We also got some harvest apple salad, which was also delicious and it had arugula, market, apple, aged, white cheddar, and a cider honey vinaigrette. This combination was quite delicious and refreshing at the same time. Another appetizer that we got was a sort of sushi which was displayed very nicely and very grandeur. Just already with these three appetizers I was already feeling full. To pair with this appetizer, we also got a drink that was used you infuse and absolutely delicious and strong on the alcohol content. I immediately turned red and was having a good time. Now let's discuss the entrées. There was a large Tomahawk steak 32 ounces that we shared with the entire table and let me just say there was still a lot of leftover. We also got the whole fried fish which I really like the flavor. It has mango salad on the side, mint, and sesame . We also got a grilled chicken Panzanella, which was good, but some parts of the chicken was a bit dry. Overall presentation was beautiful. Lastly, we got roasted acorn squash that was actually cooked in brown butter with some pomegranate and sage. Let me tell you this is one of my newest favorite vegetables that I will absolutely definitely order for the future every time I come here. By this time I was pretty full, but then came dessert, which is one of my favorite meals of the day. We had carrot cake and apple alchemy. The carrot cake was actually quite smooth and not too strong and cream cheese flavor. I'm not a fan of carrot cake but this one actually tasted just right. My favorite was the Apple alchemy as the display, dry ice effect, texture, taste, presentation, multiple aspects to look at was top-notch. The owner also gave us espresso cheesecake, which was quite delicious and paired nicely with their after dinner cocktail (which I believe was a mixture of Baileys Irish cream over ice). Overall, I had a fantastic time at this Yelp event and I would rate this as one of my top favorite Yelp events for OC. I feel like Haley went all out and did such a superb job on this event. Big round of applause for OC Yelp and this team! So glad I found a new place to dine and enjoy the sunset views. Plus there was live music playing along so it was quite a pleasant dining experience and evening.

On top of that every aspect of the event went well. The staff was super friendly and the food came out fast! I love how they made mini versions to serve (cant imagine the time it took), as opposed to family style or buffet, it ensured everyone had the same plate. I WILL come back for their signature pancakes, mac and cheese, and butternut squash pasta! It was actually my first time having butternut squash pasta and im obsessed now!
