Like any high‑use facility, equipment occasionally needs maintenance, but trainers always provide adaptations or alternatives so the workout continues smoothly. Music is a big part of the atmosphere. Expect themed days with: Rap Caribbean African Hip‑hop 90s, 2000s, 2010s World beat Mostly clean versions, and always energetic. Extra Sessions & Community Elite also offers Saturday meetups and additional workouts. They're optional but helpful for anyone who wants extra conditioning or community support. Results & Realism I've personally gone from 250 lbs to hovering between 205-215 lbs, depending on the week. My healthy range is 195-205, and if I ever pursue competitive goals, I may aim for 185-190. But here's the truth: Elite works if you work. You must show up, build stamina, and commit to the process. Deciding to join Elight after being aware of them for 3+ years was the best decision that came at the right time. I like the new beltisville location and getting up at 5am to see my trainer LALA, who holds me accountable to reach my goal is a game changer. This place is more than a gym, rather second home where you fuiel up your morning "mental and physical" caffeine to get to your day. I've been working out with Khalil for the past 6 months. At first, it was a big lifestyle adjustment and I wondered if I could do it. Khalil has worked with me to develop a meal plan that works for my lifestyle. Before Khalil, I ate out a lot and grabbed things on the go. I spent a lot of money on food that was terrible for me and not all that good. Now, I'm eating well, preparing quick easy meals at home. I have a simple food routine, and I'm saving money. Turns out amazing groceries are cheaper than dining out. The work outs are quick, but challenging. Khalil keeps it interesting and has been very supportive of my personal fitness goals. As someone who has always shied away from the gym and exercising, she was patient and tailored workouts to my specific needs and always calibrated along the way pushing gently where she needed to and, at other times, scaling back. Do not overlook this free activity as part of your membership registration. Such great energy--a real workout which will have you break into a sweat. It is a fun-filled, group activity (not to mention music) that is a great way to end the week in getting your metabolism going. Finally, the pricing is very reasonable when you compare to other fitness training facilities in the area. You get a lot for your money--personalized attention by knowledgeable trainers. I have never been athletic. I'd do the occasional cardio class or visit the gym and use the elliptical but nothing stuck. My 43rd birthday was around the corner and I was feeling old and tired. Here is what you want to know: --Great Price: you get the sessions, a free boot camp on Saturdays, meal plan, and accountability (the last one is priceless). --Great Trainers: Lala really goes above and beyond what is expected. I really recommend working with her. She is excellent at balancing growth and accountability with care and the client's needs. I have just completed three months at Elite Technique with personal trainer Khalil. See, I am of a certain age and was having a challenge losing weight, plus I wanted to try some strength training hoping it was the answer. The personal training/consultation at Elite Technique is perfect for a guy like me. I was looking for muscle building. Have goals for myself and reached them, and set new higher goals and reached those. Khalil see's something in me that I didn't see in myself. Every time I go in there I see improvement from the last session. The work out sessions are always difficult and strenuous my advise is follow the instructions to a tee. Because technique is so important here you can max yourself out and maybe leave sore/tired but never hurt. The session passes quickly even with a big barbell on your arm because your distracted by music and conversation and practical education. Elite Technique Personal Training is one of a Kind! Both Khalil and Orlando are great trainers. They are very professional, knowledgable, and dedicated. I used to go to various gyms and try to push myself to work out. Of course I did not push myself as much as Khalil does. After working with Khalil, I've lost a total of 20lbs in 2 months and counting!!! Khalil is also very flexible. My schedule changes every week and almost every I ask for a different time frame.
