We have used Elite Sub-Zero several times over the years and had been happy with their work. When in 2025, I found water on the floor in front of our Sub-Zero, I called them and Jaime came out and repaired our water line to the ice maker and everything seemed fine. About six months later, I noticed that our hardwood floors adjacent to the kitchen had started buckling. After looking around, I found about 2 inches of water in the AC wall intake. Then I removed the kick plate of our fridge and saw a slow dripping from the brass connecter to ice machine hose. I called Elite and Jaime came out right away. He was visibly upset. He promised that he would make it right. He used words like "we stand behind our work", "we are going to fix this", etc. I asked him if they could file with their insurance and he told me that he preferred not to do that because they had never filed a claim and wanted to keep it that way. He told me that he had a high school friend that could do the work. Two guys came out to survey the damage and begin the work. The water had leaked under our cabinets, in our pantry and into our hallway and family room. When the one guy ripped out some sheetrock, there was black mold everywhere and he didn't seem to know what he was doing. I immediately hired a home inspector and a certified mold inspector. They told us that the plastic tube of the ice maker had not been sufficient for the Sub Zero. Even the guy that Jaime sent out admitted the Jaime had screwed up. Anyway, to make a long story short, we had to hire a mold expert to bring in massive fans and air filter machines, rip out all the sheetrock, cabinets, and part of the floor. We had to move out of our house for 8 days. They placed thick plastic "walls" from floor to ceiling and we could not use our downstairs for one a month. After all this, when we sent Elite Sub Zero a very detailed invoice, ($28,000+) Jaime told us that his dad said that they were not going to pay us anything for all the damage they had done. Please be warned, Elite Sub Zero is: NOT AUTHORIZED OR CERTIFIED BY SUB ZERO DOES NOT USE SUB ZERO PARTS NOT TRAINED BY SUB ZERO POSSIBLY DOES NOT HAVE INSURANCE In fact, they have no relationship with Sub-Zero and there is nothing Elite about them. When you need work or service on your Sub-Zero, call a company that is trained and authorized by Sub Zero, uses Sub Zero parts and has the Sub Zero company standing behind their work and parts. A Sub Zero fridge can last 40 years or more. It is worth it to only have well trained and qualified people to work on it. read more

It takes quite a bit to impress me enough to leave a review, but today I felt I had to comment. I have a 30+ year old refrigerador we almost replaced due to avoiding another repair company after being burned in the past. I seriously had a company come to my house thirteen (yes, 13) times once before getting it repaired. We decided to give Elite Sub Zero repair a shot after reading reviews and reading that they ONLY work on Sub Zero refrigerators. I requested an appointment online and mentioned I preferred email or text verses a phone call. Early the next day, Robin reached out via email and text. Appointment easily scheduled for the next day. Then, Jamie and Michael arrived 5 minutes early and diagnosed my issue in minutes. They provided a clear explanation of what needed to be done and gave me a quote right then and there. I then expected to have to schedule a return trip to wait for parts, but Jaime said he could start right then. After protecting every surface around my refrigerator, they got to work. Once complete, Jaime recapped what they had done, and even repaired other things a vintage fridge would need. Lastly, he made some recommendations on maintainance I could do to prolong the lifespan, and even what settings to keep. Hands down the best experience I've had with any refrigerator repair. read more

I am so grateful to work with a company like Elite Sub Zero Repair that truly values the customer and their reputation. They came out to repair an ice machine in my bar at home and the next day my wife and I went on vacation. Unfortunately when we returned a week later, there was water and damage to the wood face of our bar. Immediately the owners owned their mistake and paid 100% to make repairs and restore the bar area. It's times like this when you meet honest quality people and I will never use any other company but Elite Sub Zero to repair all my appliance needs. David Neider read more

Read the amazing reviews so called them to give a quote to repair my subzero wine refrigerator. The bottom drawer section working just fine but the upper section wasn't cooling. They came out and told me that I needed to replace the sealed system for the ENTIRE unit, including bottom drawers for $5500 . New unit is $9000. I told him the bottom was cooling just fine but he insisted that it was broken and needed to be replaced. Called Star Tech Appliance (2815757779) and Joe came out. Evaluated and quoted me less than 1/2 !!! as only needed to repair top unit, not bottom. Joe came and repaired unit and it is working perfectly. Be careful and trusting the evaluation skills and recommendations of Elite Subzero. Call Joe Cohen at Star Tech appliance first. read more

I am so pleased that I found this company to service my aging Sub-zero refrigerator. I was able to get an appointment in a very reasonable amount of time, and the technician called when he was on his way. The service was outstanding! I'd had 2 other companies look at/'repair' the non-specific Service error, and had spent good $$ only to have the problem return. The temperature wouldn't get below 40° even though the panel said 34°, and I knew my fridge was trying to tell me something! When Elite arrived, I was told that it needed a board replaced, it was an 'order' item, and would be in the next day. No service charge for diagnosis. They returned the next day, and my refrigerator is working flawlessly! I also had an issue with the gasket being split. He told me it wasn't necessary to replace at this time, but would need it eventually. I opted to go ahead and do that as well. The technician explained the cause of the issues, and told me what I could expect in the way of issues in the future, but reassured me that I have many years left on the unit. The refrigerator is 17 years old, but he says it's going to last many more years. Subzero repairs are not cheap, but then neither are the refrigerators. However, I believe I got excellent service at a reasonable cost. I highly recommend this company if you need Subzero repairs! read more

All of this for a price that was less than I expected. I wouldn't hesitate to use Joe for any repairs in the future. Highly recommended. read more
