Saturday was the installation day 8-11, showed up at 1pm. He didn't have all the correct tools to finish the job and said he'd be back on Thursday. No show, finally came on Saturday but the Garage Camera was never installed properly. It hasn't worked ever! I contacted my salesman Don Williams who told me to contact him and not Vivint. I did and have been lied to since. He said they would be back and has never been back. He originally stated I had 30 days to decide if we were happy or not and we could cancel. I contacted him to cancel but he ghosted me. Customer service lied as well. I tried to cancel but they said that we should allow them to make it right. The agreement was Saturday June 21 at 8-11. They never showed or called. I called them today on Monday, June 23 to be told I cannot cancel now because it's past the 30 days. More lies came because they said there's no agreement that they would come on Saturday. I was told not to cuss because I was getting more angry by the second. Now I'm stuck with a 60 month contract because of all the lies. I reminded them, it's all on a recorded line per Vivint and that I'm going to have to contact a lawyer, yet that didn't work. I'm stuck with a panel that doesn't work correctly and app that continues to crash and 1 of the 3 cameras that doesn't work at all. I also was told we'd get a sign for our yard and that never happened either. If you read this, I'd really think twice before accepting this crooked outfit unless you like getting screwed in every way possible.

The idea came to me that a specialist in home entertainment systems may be able to help me, This was last Saturday so I called Custom Automation Technologies, Inc. in New Albany who were open until 6 pm. The owner, Dan Hoehnen, answered my call, talked with me about my system, and said he would come out that same afternoon and take care of it. Which he did, for about 1.5 hours he skillfully integrated a Roku stick into my mini-network which consists of an 11 year old plasma TV, a DVR, Spectrum cable box, a 11 year old DVD player all controlled by an 11 year old Bose Life Style sound system. Others had failed at this integration task, but Dan knew exactly what had to be done. He explained every step as he worked so that when he was finished I had full Roku capability on my system. He also explained how I should access and use the new feature, even helping me to document every step in the process. To top it off, he invited me to call him anytime I have a problem or a question. In summary, I could not be happier with the service provided by Mr. Hoehnen and CATI. The service was fast, expert, courteous and totally effective. Thank you, Dan and CATI!
