I felt disconnected from my true self and direction, honestly, I didn't even know what that actually meant at the time. In just a few months of bi-weekly sessions, Meredith helped me find crystal-clear purpose and begin significant healing. She skillfully guided me through peeling back layers to rediscover my authentic self, buried beneath years of constructs. I'm now 7 months into this incredible journey since surrendering, and I can truly say: I love who I am, I love where I am, and I am profoundly grateful for Meredith's exceptional guidance and dedication. She helped me achieve staggering progress in a short time.

She provided everything needed to get in touch with myself, love myself, remember and reignite my passion for Love, life, and that which fulfills me. She naturally and authentically helped me find my true north, and how to continually follow my path and purpose in this world. I have a new found hope and belief in myself and what the present and future may hold after 30+ years of flaying, anxiety, and low self-esteem. I highly recommend Meredith and my gratitude for her (and myself) continues to expand in the process. It means the true richness in one's life.

I was immediately drawn to the professionalism and expertise of the team. Everyone was extremely knowledgeable but still relatable and easy to approach. I really appreciated this because sometimes it can be extremely nerve wrecking to ask for professional advice. I utilized the career launch kit and worked closely with Becky Schwarz. Most importantly I want to mention how patient and helpful she was during the entire process. I initially signed up for the service around February of 2020 and then I was hit with some unexpected health issues and then the pandemic shut down happened. Long story short I was going through a lot physically and emotionally as you can imagine! Eventually I got it together and was ready to begin working with the YNJ team again to update my resume and LinkedIn. Becky was patient, understanding and attentive throughout the entire process. I can tell you that I wasn't the easiest client to work with lol. From March 2020-October 2020 I experienced lots of professional changes within the same company due to various project rotations and an organization restructure. For reference I work in a non-tech role for a tech startup. Becky and the team were able to take all of the changes and feedback I provided to create an absolutely amazing resume and linked in profile. I have not been actively looking for new employment since utilizing the YNJ services but I have received significantly more traffic to my LinkedIn and great comments from recruiters about my resume. I would 100% recommend YNJ and appreciate them for all of their great work!

I appreciated the email reminders before the appointment. Timothy gave me a call promptly at 9pm and walked me through the basics of strengthening a resume. Since the appointment was only 15 minutes, he cut right to the chase. I took notes as he discussed how to word a resume to get employers to notice it. At the end of the call, I received some example resume templates to use. The appointment went by fast but Timothy was efficient in his explanations. The information Timothy shared was extremely helpful for me! I would highly recommend using Your Next Jump for help in improving a resume.

Finally, about a year ago, I reached a place where I simply couldn't ignore the voice any longer and reached out to Nancy Scheel who I had met in a coaching program. I already knew and deeply respected Nancy's work so when she told me about the programs she is currently offering through Jody Michael Associates, it was an easy decision to take the next step. Nancy suggested I start with an ability test that helped me understand my true skills on a level I had never been able to access before. It also helped me see where I get stuck or find myself less effective and why. In parallel, we worked on how I could leverage those things I am naturally good at toward a new career path in a field that is more aligned with my soul's calling. Where I was still stuck was how to take 25 years of professional skills in a different field and make them relevant to this new direction. So in addition to working with Nancy to gain clarity and direction, I had the great pleasure of engaging one of JMA's senior writers who masterfully crafted an entirely new resume for me. All I can say is, 'wow'! I was so impressed I nearly forgot it was written about me. Having access to such incredible talent is truly a unique gift. I know I will continue to call on Nancy and JMA for ongoing support as I navigate this next phase of my career -- and life. Deeply grateful.

These questions have reappeared throughout my life.  Even as a child, I was excited and passionate about whatever it was that I was going to do in the distant future. The hurdle was figuring out what "it" was that I wanted to do! In the meantime, life went on, I earned a good income, worked hard and put off solving those nagging questions. Three weeks before my executive level position was eliminated, I decided it was time to find the answers. I researched executive coaches and decided upon Jody Michael Associates (JMA) based on reviews just like this one. I spoke with Jody who listened, assessed my situation and referred me to Nancy Scheel based out of the Atlanta Office.  Thank goodness I made the decision to work with Nancy. I am not sure I would have approached being out of work with such enthusiasm had it not been for our time together. Nancy is a one of kind, gifted and compassionate advisor. She is strong, sharp and unlike any person I have ever met.  Her job is unique and challenging.  After our time together, I still ponder over the research, education, training and passion it must have taken for her to be so great at what she does.  Her scientific approach to discovery is accompanied by a compassionate and genuine interest in those she coaches.  Nancy, over time and using the JMA methodology, compiled a comprehensive, measurable assessment of the real me. She helped to untangle my past, assess my strengths and plot forth a course of action. The JMA approach uses a fine-tuned, time-tested and verified method of career and self discovery. The JMA curriculum cannot be found in a book or achieved alone.  The secret to success is doing your homework and working with the highly skilled and professional career coaches at JMA.  The result of working with Nancy and JMA was a developing a set of tools unique to me that provide confidence, clarity and strategic next steps for achieving my career goals.  Our work together confirmed that I am an entrepreneur. In addition, we identified the type of team I want to work with and the values that my business must uphold to meet my expectations for success. Going forwarded, I know exactly what it is that I need to do to achieve my desired goals. Consequently, I also know what doesn't work for me and what I do not want to do. What a gift!  Thank you Nancy and Jody!

JOB HUNT CHALLENGING? IT'S PROBABLY NOT YOU-YOUR PRESENTATION LIKELY IS NOT ACCURATELY CONVEYING…read moreYOU. Which is what a group of us learned in a presentation by JUDI ADAMS, OWNER OF RIGHT CHANGES. Notes below on Judi's group presentation to a large job networking group. I found Judi to be the first career advisor to, rather than tell you to restructure your resume to their idea, instead constructively direct a pro-active self-representation. I highly recommend Judi for group presentations or individual sessions. Or refer to her book, Found A Job Yet? Or see blog site: RightChangesJobSearchCoach.blogspot.com. I incorporated what I learned in her presentation, and booked an hour in which she further refined ME. Rather than more hodgepodge of the same thing in every other great resume, there's now a reason to hire ME over the other equally qualified candidates. Most importantly, to the employer and those of us interviewing, is the clarity gained about how I/YOU can impact the organization. To that point, employers should hire her also. MY THANK YOU NOTE TO THE NETWORK ORGANIZERS: Judi's presentation yesterday was especially helpful and extremely timely. I wish I had been present for her last presentation. She took us right to our discomfort zone and made us, not told us to do later, exercise our noodles to identify crucially important information specific to us. I am about to begin incorporating my "findings" into my resume, cover letter and other materials, as well as following up with her offer to email and request a couple of templates. Her slide showing an employer holding a box in front of three job candidates segued to drive home the importance of the exercise. She asked us, "The box holds a job, why should this be given to you versus the other two people?" Of course our brains are saying because... And those answers were all the reasons she's just made us put onto paper, and made us learn to say concisely. Everyone had to be as relieved as me that they had been done! For those of you who were not in the presentation, that's just one of twelve major takeaways from Judi's presentation to us. Lastly, we were reminded that each of us deserves to be hired. A point you all kindly remind us weekly. She made us drill down to those reasons, then reminded us that we are worthy. As I begin incorporating her ideas, which she made our ideas, I feel very rejuvenated to my individuality translating into offerings to my impending job.
