My first appointment they were all so kind and sensitive. Dr. Marisse listened to my ranting patiently, lol. I also joke a lot, and they laugh at my jokes - they are very down to earth, yet educated and professional. They made me feel welcome from the start. Dr. Marisse is very educated. Our first appointment, and she provided me more information than any doctor I had before her. I do appreciate and like how she is very thorough, especially wanting to get to the root cause of the issue and explaining alternative ways we can heal our parasympathetic nervous system. I had never heard of that before, but I did my research afterwards, and I knew she was more than just a regular doctor. The next day, they scheduled blood work, and again, they were very quick. I was in and out without any waiting. It's not something I'm used to. I do love that they have upfront pricing, unlike insurance companies that can give you surprise bills after your visit. I look forward to working with them on my health journey. I am excited to see how I can heal myself, especially with the health concerns that I've been struggling with for many years. I am in shock right now. I'm almost afraid to share this post because I don't want to jinx things…read more But this is so important for people that suffer from chronic migraine that I feel I need to share it. I have suffered from migraines for over three decades. But I've suffered from chronic migraines for half of that time. Finally over the last few years Dr h prescribed sumatriptan daily. It dropped my migraines down significantly. But I was still dealing with the constant onset as well as a full week down with severe migraine. That's with taking sumatriptan every day and two a day for when a severe migraine hits. It was the only way I could function and work. The pharmacist at Dr Henderson's office recommended I start taking vitamin B2. I was skeptical but I decided to listen and do what she said. I ordered vitamin B2, with magnesium and riboflavin. I got it on Amazon. It took about 2 months which was two full bottles but I'm happy to say it has been over a week and I have not had to take one sumatriptan nor have I had a migraine. It has been over three decades since I've had more than one sumatriptan as backup. I have 10. I'm literally in shock that this has worked as well as it has. I am so grateful to the pharmacist Dr Benjamin I think is her name. So if you suffer from chronic migraine, contact Dr Henderson's office and they will fix you right up. Like I said, I'm still in shock. I can't believe this has really worked for me and I am eternally grateful. I lived in Orange County my whole life but I fly down from Montana just to see Dr Henderson and his team.

Instead of addressing my worries, Dr.Gutierrez was dismissive and worried about her staff being overwhelmed with the request. She stated due to lack of staff, she would require me to pull the heavy grunt work with calling insurance, providing details, of what it will require to be approved. Despite me already doing that and informing Dr.Gutierrez that insurance states they need a prior-authorization request; she would not take the step forward with me to send in a pre-authorized referral due to the amount of time irk it will be for her staff. When I pointed out my dissatisfaction with the service, Dr.Gutierrez bluntly told me, "If you don't like our service, you can go somewhere else." I was shocked by this unprofessional behavior. A healthcare provider should prioritize patient care and empathy, not push patients away. I will definitely take Dr.Gutierre's advice and find another doctor who actually cares about their patients. I would not recommend Dr.Gutierrez or Memorial Care to anyone. Save yourself the trouble and look for a more compassionate and professional healthcare.
