I was told I should have called a day ahead for an emergency I could not have possibly known about before it happened. I am not a psychic the last time I checked. Given the fact that covid is a thing and emergencies happen outside a client's control this is an outrageous and heartless policy. If you get in a car accident, heart attack, or injury hope you called the groomer the day before the emergency or you will be charged $40! I was a long term client and for a while brought 2 dogs. This is the first negative review I have ever posted on Yelp. Look elsewhere!

What intrigued me about Granny's - #1 - She 'interviews' you and your dog before accepting. If she feels that your dog is too aggressive, she won't board.(My dogs and I spent over an hour with her, getting to know her and her place, and interviewing her as well.) #2 - She has been boarding dogs for 17 years - SHE KNOWS DOGS #3 - Her back yard is better than any dog park I've seen. Totally enclosed. Mowed and kept. #4 - If your pooch wants to sleep in her bed - that's great! Good to know: Michelle loves dogs and their health and happiness and well being are all in her best interest. DO NOT expect your dog to come home groomed and smelling pretty! (That's a minor thing.) Yet when I brought him for his first visit, he was nervous, I could see he wasn't afraid. He loved his groomer! When I picked him up he looked lovely, and I could just tell, he wasn't traumatized as he sometimes can be a bit when he has to go to the groomer. My instructions were followed to the letter and the groomer listened patiently to my concerns about my little Levi and his issues. Even though this groomer is quite far from my home, the experience for Levi was so positive, I'll be taking him back!
