I'm not sure what the hell this guys deal is. I had a very straightforward project to hang wallpaper on 6 average size walls. After noticing he doesn't offer the convenience of requesting a quote via Yelp, I follow the link to his website and send over a short email with the project details asking for pricing. After no response, I decide to give him a call (no answer) and leave a simple voicemail inquiring about his services. 3 minutes later he send me the most bizarre shorthanded text message that read, "not interested. thank you." Like what the hell does that even mean? And who sends a text like that after immediately ignoring a CALL from a customer? I was so confused and put off by his brash response that I had to go back and look at my original email to see if maybe I miscommunicated something, but there was literally nothing abnormal about my inquiry. Very rarely do I go out of my way to leave a negative review, especially for small local businesses, but this man's professionalism was complete garbage, which seems to be consistent with other negative reviews on yelp. Jim seemed professional when texting with him to set up the job, so we decided to hire him. When I spoke with him on the phone to set up the date I asked if he was vaccinated, and he quickly and harshly said "no". I asked him if he could wear a mask during the job because my 6 and 9 year old are not vaccinated yet. He said that he was not able to work with a mask. I said that he could still be a carrier and pass covid to my kids. He said he just couldn't work for the 4-5 hours it takes to put up the wallpaper with a mask on because he couldn't breathe in it.
