Well, first of all my car requires an oil change every 7500 miles and the car tells me so and I use synthetic oil. Also, it took an hour for this service to be done. Not sure if my tech was Jordan or Jaiden but they don't know what they're talking about and as far as I'm concerned, they're crooks! 03/16/26 - Knorr's Car Care Center Saves the Day!…read more We had a horrible experience with the Walmart Auto Center in New Port Richey and hope to save others from the same. Three weeks ago, we had an oil change done at the Walmart Auto Center on 54 in New Port Richey. Before having the oil changed, our car didn't leak oil, at all. After the oil change, we noticed that it was leaking oil a lot. We took it back, they looked at it and they said they couldn't tell where the oil was leaking from, even after cleaning it off and checking the plug and oil filter. The Manager claimed that she had run it for about an hour while watching it on camera and saw no leaking. She also said the oil level was fine. Today we noticed it was leaking even more and when we checked the oil, it was low about a quart. We took the car to Knorr Car Care Center to have them check it out. They were able to get to the car today and immediately identified that the oil filter was not installed tightly and wasn't sealed, AND the oil drain plug wasn't in all the way. They were able to immediately resolve the issue and said that the diagnostic cost they quoted us covered the cost of taking care of the problem! We have found our new local auto center and will be recommending them to others as well!

I was told a replacement would be ordered and that the vehicle might need to be sent to a specialist. When I returned (for the fifth time), the manager attempted to remove the broken dipstick by drilling into it while it was still inside the engine. During this process, visible plastic debris entered the engine area. An employee standing nearby even commented that plastic had gone into my vehicle and that it was not good. Despite this, the manager minimized the situation and indicated there was nothing to worry about. Shortly afterward, my vehicle began experiencing performance issues consistent with a possible misfire. What appeared to be a simple problem may now be more serious due to how the situation was handled. I contacted corporate and was initially told I would hear back within a week about having the vehicle properly inspected. It has now been approximately a month, and I have been informed that because this is a franchise location, corporate cannot assist. I have still not received any meaningful follow-up or resolution. As a result, my three-year-old child and I are currently without a reliable vehicle. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will have no choice but to pursue legal counsel.

This was after the vehicle had recently been inspected by our dealer, who quoted a much lower price and did not say the car was unsafe. This felt like a classic bait-and-switch: lure you in with a low price on the phone, then inflate the cost and add scare tactics once you're already there. Total waste of time and very misleading. Recently, after a car wash, I noticed a gash on the sidewall of one of the tires, I probably hit a curb. I had just dropped off my wife at Tampa International Airport and stopped in to see if the tire could be replaced. I forgot to bring the original receipt. I explained the tire status and my situation to the attentive clerk. After looking up my information she instructed me to wait in the waiting area. Approximately (90) ninety minutes later the tire was replaced, renewed road hazard insurance, new valve and tpi installed, balanced, disposal/recycling fee, and the prorated tire was sold to me for a reasonable $125.00.
