I visited Elite Spa on Thursday to receive filler from Melissa and as I was checking out the front desk staff said they would call me the next day to see how I was...that call never happened. Had they called, this is what I would have said - My initial consult with Melissa was a few days before at Ageless Spa, where she also works. During the consult I discussed my issues, which were the lines around my mouth, the "parentheses" and sagging jowls. Melissa came up with a plan for filler and stated she would not put filler in the lines because she didn't want to give me "chimp face" (her words) but had another filler and a plan I was comfortable with. Pricing was also discussed and I was fine with that. Thursday I went to Elite and unbeknownst to me Melissa changed the plan. Clearly this is not my area of knowledge or comfort, but she chose a completely different type of filler where it was put into the lines around my mouth - and I am CHIMP FACE. Not only am I chimp face, I am an asymmetrical chimp face because the lumps are different sizes. I feel completely disfigured and there is no definition to my face, other than puffy...think Marlon Brando in the Godfather. Yup, the initial concern of the lines are softened, but she traded one issue for another. And then, shocking, the price of this type of filler is much higher. She did offer to reduce the price when I stated "This wasn't what we discussed" but it wasn't reduced to what we actually talked about. The only thing she was truthful about was that it's permanent - how I looked when I walked out is how I look now - the filler used - a collagen, doesn't shift, reduce or change over time, so I CHIMP FACE for however long, which she couldn't even give me a timeline expectation, nor did she tell me to expect bruising, which I have, or that my face would still feel sore and tight several days later. It astounds me that she is a trainer....and that the YELP reviews are so positive. If I could give negative stars I would, - I'm out $$$, I'm stuck and feel sickened and depressed when I look in the mirror...so buyer beware and be more investigative when looking for someone to do something to your body. read more

I was a little nervous to be up-sold or for it to be a stiff atmosphere but honestly I had a great time experience!! I got a Pixel on November 17, 2020. Blake did the procedure and you can see the results he gave me from the pics. Blake did not ask me any history on my skin or even explain the procedure which I thought was unprofessional, as well as, his inappropriate conversation about his sex life with in minutes of meeting. Blake, nobody wants to hear about your anal sex. Once the procedure started, I could smell burning and he did not have any answer for that when I inquired. He made multiple passes in some areas which was painful. Once the procedure was completed he gave me a dusty, dirty fan to place in front of my raw skin to cool my face. It took about 20 minutes to calm the burn down but not resolved. My face hurt so badly that I asked to see the results and it was shocking but I figured part of the process. Then, he tried to make about a $400 sale in product, do your research, you don't need them. I have a very high tolerance for pain and that night my face was a 10 with pain. Just sitting on the couch my face would start bleeding. I woke up many times throughout that night due to pain. I did try to reach out to the physician whose license Blake works under but they refused to talk. Instead they wanted me to buy a $200 product. At this point, I felt like my face needed to be treated like a burn and not be upsold. I sent many pics to them and I was very patient considering my face was fried. This spa did NOTHING to help. Now, we are moving in to February and my face is still scarred. I see virtually no improvement in any fine lines, acne scars and no tightening results. The only tightening I had was the 1st week when my face was swollen. Anyways, my face is still scarred and I actually have to wear more make up to cover these areas. The spa does not take responsibility for their actions. Blake didn't even bother to follow up with me in any way. I still have all of the messages sent back and forth which are tempting to post. This was a really traumatizing experience. I had to seek other medical help for the damage done to my face. Also, the products that I did purchase were a waste. The thick Vaseline like product gave me a ton of black heads and bothered my eyes so much that I thought I got pink eye too and the other product is very tacky on the skin which is awful for makeup application. My IPL (chest area) was performed by a qualified technician & my results have been nothing short of amazing with almost all discoloration gone after only 1 treatment :) I was also getting Dysport as I am Botox resistant. Decided to do 2 areas instead of just the one I had scheduled & the Dr. went over all my options & was very thorough. I have also had very good results with my injections. I had my first experience today. I had been talking with Naydine so it was nice to put a name with a face. Beautiful face at that. Danielle did my laser hair removal. The experience was basically painless, very Thorough and detailed with every hair. I saved the best for last which was Botox with Candace. I didn't feel a thing. I was extremely satisfied with my IPL completed by Blake. I walked into the office 5 minutes before my appointment, filled out some quick paperwork and was immediately brought back to start my treatment. I have been looking for a place that numbs the skin prior to the IPL so the laser actually pulls the pigment from my skin. It's been two days since my laser and I see the sun damage coming to the surface. I cannot wait to see the results of this and I'm SO happy I bought a 3 pack. The office manager on the other hand is abrupt, could be nicer, should be nicer. she treats Customers like they are invisible. carries on private conversations while i am standing right in front of her. Very rude. I called to see if I could come early, the Receptionist said yes, come 15 minutes early. When I arrived the Manager, not the Receptionist, was at the computer and said your appointment isn't for two hours, again, rudely. Also, and most importantly, the Dysport was weak. He kindly explained that he wanted me to see a dermatologist first to make sure I don't have melasma before doing any procedure.
